Is Big Brother Watching YOU?

dude if we think that big brother is watching us then they are but if we do not think that they are watching us then they are not

 

yes, but what's "wrong" to them is the question. they might consider it wrong to be on a forum dealing with drugs and/or talking about their shitty government schemes.

 

I hate going into public bathrooms cuz theirs almost always a hidden camera. Not like in perverted way, but the people wanna make sure nothing happens to their precious shitroom. I always flick everything off so if their is one they'll see it

 

For Governments, of any country, to be watching everyone 24/7, THEY would have to paranoid.

Governments do not have the time, money, or man-power to watch every person, all the time. They don't even have the resources to catch every criminal (e.g weed-smokers), so how would they have the resources to watch everyone?

Think about it; if you were a cop, or a government official, you'd still be a human being. Would you real give a damn about what kind of music joe-schmoe likes to look at on the internet?

to watch everyone it would take everyone, that much is true, but there's a little trick computers can be taught to do all by themselves, it's called datamining. basicly everything is watched, but only when certain key phraises or actions concatinate in a particular way are humans called in to have a look. the problem is this can happen in large numbers of totally innocent ways, and then, no human judgement is infallable either.

the good news is that there's nothing personal about it, or at least not usually or probably, unless you really call a lot of attention to yourself. the bad news is that its still possible to make someone feel insecure you have no idea even exists, who might be one of the humans called in to monitor datamining, or be somewhere in the sequence that analasys and reports passess through.

then you COULD get 'flagged' to be watched more closely. and yes this can and does happen to anyone. this could have so little consiquence you'd never know if it happened, or at the other extreme you could end up at gitmo or some abu grabe or 'black site', without the slightest rime or reason as to why. as i belive a majority of people who have ended up in such places do.

so it's not quite like there's never ANYthing to worry about.

there ARE certain things that are common sense, or ought to be, like not discussing sensitive matters, whatever they might happen to be, 'in the clear' either on public sites on the internet or over any kind of voice telephony, that do signifigantly affect probabilitiy.

it's only paranoia to take it personally, but not to bear in mind the POSSIBILITY of being observed any place or time. any. not every. but any, just the same. and not because you're you, but because you're a human, doing whatever it is you happen to be doing.

i think "watching you" its just a metaphor for the fact that entertainment, tv, media, internet, consumismm, politics, religion, sports, education, etc are things that in a way or two, control the way we think. in that way, big brother is allways watching us, even when we take a dump, because we have something in the bathroom that belongs to him. little pieces of control that remind us that he's everywhere.
big evil brains control the masses and this is not new.

i feel like. on the new macs how they have a built in camera. that it might be used all the time and someone can watch you whenever they want.

 

I sure they monitor a lot of sites that might have illegal activity like growing pot or stuff like that. There are a lot of stupid people on the Internet like the people who post pics of their pot plants and talk about scoring drugs.
I’m sure LE has spiders that pic up stuff like that and when you get “flagged” they have a closer look.
It wouldn’t be very hard to get someones IP address and report them to the local authorities and they could do a little investigation look at the power bills, do a random traffic stop, look at incoming mail ect.

 

oh yes. Because the government loves us, and only gets the bad guys.
"Wrong" is relative, especially to Big Bro and the gov. they consider it wrong for a person to smoke or grow a plant. A PLANT is a threat...
And yet it isn't wrong for them to taze and shoot people for no reason, silence peace activists, drop bombs on innocent people, spy on us, etc.

i don't doubt for a second that Big Brother is watching us... maybe not everyone, but the people they deem as threats. And not just the arabs, the taliban, etc.
But the youth, the stoners, the peace activists, the teachers, the revolutionaries, etc.

 

Not only is BIG BROTHER watching, they are also laughing at all these suckers who signed up for these stupid wars while BIG BROTHER, and their corporate cronies rake in record profits.

personally, probably not. but you know there is a big room in san fran, in one of the telco buildings that everything you say on the phone or on the net is passed through and data mined. that's no bull but absolutely for real. i think verizon owns the building in question. actually that's just one of the regional centers, i think the've got them in every major regeon of the u.s. and i'm pretty sure several in europe.

at least the ones in europe are interpol or somebody like that, rather then u.s. "homeland security".

of course it's completely crazy, because who the hell is ever going to be able to look even at everything that gets flagged. but still, it also means, even the streightest, most right wing loonie, as well as anybody with a conscience and good sense, could find themselves being extrodinarily rendered on the basis of some silly off the wall thing they might have said as a joke or something. to anybody, anywhere.

and its not whether what you are doing is "right or wrong", but whether it "looks suspicious" by some totally arbitrary, off the wall, corporate mafia, economic interest 'standards".
