i'm going to be hitting up the Keys either before or after the Langerado Fest this year and i'd like to get a heads up on where not to go. i'm a street performer, guitar and voice, and while i'm down there i'll be trying to make the money for a bus ticket up to New England. so could anyone tell me the good places for me to go where i can make decent bank? also, i've heard of a "hippy island" just off of Key West. the person who told me about it doesn't know about the Family so, it's possible it's just a "get fucked up" island so i want to find out more about it
before i check it out. does it ring a bell?

thanks for any info you folks could send my way.
    see you in Ocala!!!

    Gypsy Joe,
I sling jewelry there during the season and Fantasyfest. Singer's, Pickers, Musicians have it made. MOST of the clubs welcome you to play guitar and sing for $$$ or Drinks. Even young entertainers welcome. Street-Slinging is another story. A license if you do the pier or gonna stay a month or so. I do the cove in the fence at St Pauls Episcipal Church with the least of hassle (Church Grounds).
Now your Island is the FAMOUS "Christmas Tree Island" or "Wisteria" Island, still in court battle (I believe) and protected by armed Babylonians in Boats. A good NOVEMBER '07 article of it is here:
I always stay/sleep in BIG PINE ISLAND for the space, flea market hustlin', thrift store and FREE Dumpster there, Then do Day or two trips down to Key West.

It's a popular anchorage east and southeast of Wisteria Island, sheltered from most winds, sits opposite the dinghy beach at the foot of Simonton Street. Except in emergencies, dinghy landings are not recommended. At the corner of Vernon Street and Waddell Avenue is the little known hideaway that's reserved just for dogs. Right beside Louie's Backyard Restaurant.

    Alas!

I'm going back to Fl for some jail time... because the good fight must be fought!
I delibertly violated a court order for political reasons.

But I WISH I WAS HEADING TO THE GATHERING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to spill the beans here--

EVERYONE and EVERYONE you know. Got to geckopelliproductions.com and look at the Domestic Terrorism link. Ignore the sex spam on the message board (put there by the cops) and post an opinion. The judge is looking.
