Why do people feel it's necessary to follow the crowd and have sex early? Man, if I could have saved my virginity until now, I'd be happier than pigs in shit! Although, I don't regret any of it, but I find 14 to be kind of young to have sex and that's when I started and I've averaged about 2-3 partners a year since then.

You should be proud that you're still a virgin! Nothing at all to be ashamed of, although I believe it's probably more emotionally difficult for a male to be a virgin as opposed to a female.

I lost my viriginity to my husband at the age of 18, and he's been my one and only. I dealt with feeling left out during my high school years due to the fact that nearly all of my friends (if not all!) were sexually active. I felt like it was a great big club that I wasn't a member of. But I'm so glad I waited. Seriously.

Don't be so hard on yourself, you've got plenty of years ahead of you for all of that anyway. Why rush things?

 

You know right now this issue seems like it's the all or nothing of your world, but it's really not. You got to figure out whats right for you! And you sound like the kind of guy who isn't just looking for some one night stand (which can make you feel even worse in the long run), so all I'm saying and just keep your head and go with it. Your virginity is a part of who you are, and you don't just want to give that to just anybody.
