Movin out of my mommas house!

But still working at my mommas law office. And Jugo Juice.

Rent is $465 a month plus the electricity bill. I make $1400 a month at the firm and roughly $600 a month from Jugo Juice. It's just a bachelor, but it's gonna be pimping... and I can smoke weed once I'm settled. I'm quitting once I'm done this bag.

Not to mention it's halfway between my two jobs. 10 minutes to each one I'd say. And my friend Roger lives in the same complex (it's actually a big brown house, I've always wanted to live there). He is this crazy computer guy and he can get me mad hookups with laptops and free wireless and shit.

I'm pretty much the happiest right now. I smoked my 3 closest friends up with a champagne blunt to celebrate... and they are now schemeing and elaborate housewarming gift. The plan was actually in the making before when i moved from the house i grew up in to this condo. But now that i'm moving to my own place it's about to blow up.

So the moral of this story is, I'm real stoned and real happy. Peace :spliff:

It hasn't happened yet. I'm paying him the security deposit and first months rent next week. Then I'm moving in on the 2nd.

After I pay that, I'll have two pay checks amounting to roughly $1000 to get the things I need. It's pretty much perfect.

 

Congrats, I cant wait to move out, then I can finally eat ice cream out of the damn container.

 

Nice! Im happy for you. Living on your own and all. Lucky. Also, thats pretty good rent less that $500. In Georgia its like $600 a month for a 1 room apartment.

 

i could of gotten one for $400 but this one is alot nicer. and it's in a way better location.

not to rain on your parade, but you will soon realize the novelty of having your own place quickly dies away :-(, this is for all the 15year old kids who are like " oh hellz yeah man im like gettin a badass place we can smoke in all the time in like 1 year, im gunna use my 7dollar an hour job to pay the rent, and if i only eat 6 times a month i can make it!!" why would you want to move out unless your parents are abusive or something, you get free food, you get free room, and kids arent really asked to do much lol. guess its just that rebelious stage where 16year olds think they know everything and are all grown up. but i guess you're 18 and know what you're doing so all the best btw you guys have cheap rent lol, over here its minimum of 750-800 for a bachelor, 700-800 for a crappy basement

 

Damn thats crazy! But i bet people there get paid more than here.

 

Thats cool, once I get off probation I'm going to buy a house and take out a mortgage. Im going to split the lease with a buddy of mine. Houses arent really too bad once you break all the payments down n shit.

dude, that is probably one of the stupidest things you could possibly do in your entire life, how do you know if you guys will be friends in the 15 years, what if he just says okay whatever im leaving, honestly you should be prepared to say that this person will give their life for you if you intend on taking out a mortgage with them. this could pretty much destroy any credit you have and ruin the rest of your adult life.think really long and hard before you make that decision

 

are u already counting taxes being taken out of your checks? and im 16 years old and it not that we want our own place and all its that we want to get away from our parents... i dont just want a place to stay and smoke pot and work a minimum wage job... although that is my plan for while im living in an apartment in college

when ya get a mortgage it isnt a lease,, they are two very different things... i would perhaps suggest learning the difference between them befor eever taking such a step..Theres alot more to owning a home than paying mortagage payment as well..Think bout up keep taxes etc that you have added in to it above n beyond a lease,,,

to blowinblunts,,, I dunno where you live in Ga ... but rent for a 1 BR in my part of Ga start at about 375 a month and go on up from there...

i make way more then enough to be able to make it on my own. $2000+ a month is quite sufficient to get everything I need, pay bills and have fun.

and houses are expensive... and mortgages are a bitch. i work in the property department of a law firm... trust me lol.
