Alright call me paranoid, call me a noob, make fun of me whatever.. but i got a question. I like to smoke some mary jane every once a while and I live below my landlords, we also share air conditioning (the intake and thermo are with me but the ducts run upstairs aswell) and im scared of smoke traveling upstairs. Why? because there nutso and would probly find a way to kick me. I mean if they find out its not end of life but it would just suck cause then i would have to do stuff.. lol. So I use a tube filled with dryer sheets, works ok, I light candels and use alot of air spray, I also turn OFF the air conditioning unit, but im worried about the smoke seeping through the ceiling.. is it possible? Theres no visable cracks and it seems pretty solid but Im always paranoid that they will catch a smell. Theres air ducts and the intake are on the ceiling, so even with the air not moving at all I guess it could seep through the vents and up into there area. I have a ceiling fan, should I turn that on or does that generally make it worst? Is there any other tips for actuley masking the smell?
I'm pretty sure the smoke won't seep through the walls, lol. Keep using the spoof and candles because I'm sure your landlord wouldn't want you burning incense. The smoke could travel through the vents, but that isn't that likely if you have a fan on and you aren't blowing into it. Just open a window if you can and blow the smoke through the spoof out the window, with the fan and candles going. If you are still paranoid get some ozium car air sanitizer (just a little is all you need to make anything smell clean).
just blow it out the window, or something cause i know the smoke can travel through the ceiling upstairs, cause i have 2 bitches that live above me and my roommate and they always complain to us that their upstairs smells like pot when we smoke
i used to smoke in the dorms in college and we were straight as long as we used a spoof and LOTS of air freshener. we never were caught however i wouldn't advise it.
er, ive harvested plants in a on floor 32 of a sky rise, i think your level of odor protection should suffice.
interesting, yeah I tried the window thing but im not sure if it was the pressure in my apartment or the wind cause it blew right back into my face. I actuley found that blowing it into the fan above the oven works well because it contains the smoke to one place and filters it through a dirty smoke filter. The only problem is when friends come over they dont want to do that, they arent as paranoid as me lol. I dont see why i couldnt burn incense, i think cigs would raise an alarm for them, and weed is illegal so they would flip. I guess though incense is like cig smoke in that it can make the whole apartment smell like whatever i burn, not really sure if i want to ask them an odd question like if i can burn it or not lol. I dont care what my apartment smells like, I just dont want them smelling it. 40oz, I dont usualy turn the AC back on untill the next day, hopefully it would all settle in the vents, and hopefully would be filtered out from the air handeler filter, but one never knows. Its total bull that I have to hide such things anyway, but thats my world these days, one day I will get a place i can smoke anywhere i please.
buy a air purifier and blow your smoke into the back of that or if you toke in the day blow your smoke into a on hoover (or a vacume cleaner as you gaybo americans say )
Burn some incense for a while, think of a BS excuse to go ask your landlord a question and when you get to their place see if you can smell the incense up there. Thats the best way to tell if they can smell what you are doing.
