I like my music in fast forward

    can anyone point me in the direction of some softward that could play full playlists in fast forward without tampering with the media player after every song

    The artists record their songs the way they want you to hear them, and usually, the speed the song is played at is the speed at which the song is most powerful. I don't think you should listen to it in any other way.

    i dont have an opinion about the way anyone should or shouldnt listen to music, as is the case with most art. but i know what i like, and i know what i want to hear....

    can anyone.....please give me a media player that can play in ff

    Maybe you should look for a DVD-player program that can also play audio files, cause those always have fast-forward. Only AFAIK those can usually play just one file at a time, and you wanted playlists. Hm... if I find something I'll let you know.

    I suggest you hook your ears to your car and hit the gas pedal.
    Most newer model cars have some kind of software imbedded within somewhere.

    Playlists? I dunno. But you could open them in Audacity (audacity.sourceforge.net) and adjust the speed.

    iv already considered using audacity, but the thought of editing and exporting my entire librrary is rediculous to me

    Audacity is probably the only way, other than some 1337 software from the newsgroups :D
