Your own appreciation thread. I thought you deserved one after being so kind and honoring autentique and relayer.. Did you do another one that I missed?

I'll share a few of my thoughts about you. You're always willing to lend a helping hand without discrimination or judgement. You are level headed, and very intelligent. Your posts are always so informative, and fun to read. You are one of the better members who post here at the stoner's lounge my friend.. Thanks for being there.

I used to think you were sort of a jack ass green, but I was mistaken. I like you a lot.

I'd started reading and posting in the MJ forums in part as a sort of penance after making a less than informed comment in an RT discussion a month or so ago and being called on it. What I've observed is a far cry from the wave of assumption I allowed myself to be swept up in. Most of the regulars here are genuinely decent people who have alot to say. For the most part the discussion here is civil and apart from the occasional heated debate degenerating into something else there seems to be tolerance for differing points of view. It reflects the character of those who habituate this forum.

 

roflmao ...^ but no worries brother,,, a few others have haunted the halls since that famous statement. and in truth is sorta nice seeing yall round here ...n yes for the most part we play amazingly well together ...not being very good stoners if we didnt

 

The problem isn't so much when someone makes a mistake- it's when he doesn't learn anything from it.

Stinkfoot. Why, may i ask did you close that other thread (i can't remember which one) of mine? If it was because some people where getting very wound up.. and emotional then i don't think that is a particularly good reason to end it..

I mean i know your a mod.. and your deicision is final.. but just because a debate is heated.. doesn't mean that anything dramatic is going to happen. It's the internet.. no one is going to assualt another person.. a few emotions IMO shoudln't be reason to end a thread.

If a debate is heated.. then it just means that people are really thinking about it and gettin involved... making for a more intense and interesting debate.

In real life.. someone needs to step in.. to avoid a fight.. but this is a forum. If people can't handle a debate then they can ignore it... but shutting a thread seems a bit pointless.

 

Nesta is a very cool person. I always enjoy reading his posts and yes they are very informative, and that's something I appreciate a lot. I really like how he says what he says and he's very appreciative of others around here :hug:

Glad I made you smile.. lol My boyfriend is home now (taking a half day on account of the weather,) and he's already stormed outside after telling me "fuck you!!" Because we got in a little argument about buying a totally belated xmas present for his parents who live in florida. We were supposed to go somewhere and spend the day together since its 60 degrees, but I guess those plans are shot. Now I'm busting my ass off cleaning the apartment for nothing really. I hate him.

By the way.. I can't even remember the stuff that we disagreed on..

Nesta has long been a favorite of mine. When I was on the forums 7 years ago, I remember Nesta. I always assumed he was this wise old man. It wasn't until I came back a couple of years ago that I realized he was just a young punk, who I had pleasant cigar discussion with.

 

Nesta is one of the first memebers that I got to know fairly well on the forums, and I have considered him as a friend for quite some time now. He and Pressed Rat are two members here who I would absolutley love to sit back and chill with, top off some seriously tall glasses of the world's finest beers, smoke some of the worlds finest cigars, and surely have some amazing conversation go down. He has always been respectful of my opinions (especially concerning our pervious massive beer discussions) and has treated myself and other's here with the upmost kindness and acceptance. Though we have different opinions regarding spirituality and psychedelics, basically reality itself, I find a lot of his interests and qualities to be very similar to my own. He makes a person feel that the discussion we all partake in on the forums is indeed on a personal level and very informative and worthwhile. There is a certain energy that is truly put into your post, and the more honest and caring energy you put in, the more you will have a lasting impact on the mind of your reader. Thank you Nesta for the quality posts, the genuine and interesting care for others, and for your recognition of the positive qualities of other members here and having no fear for brining them to be celebrated in the light.
