hey all. i've been wanting an industrial piercing for a long time and now that my birthday has come i think i'll go get one. i was thinking of something as visible and big as possible, much like this. This is my first piercing and I'm not very knowledgeable about them (or ears); are there any two spots on the ear in specific that anyone would recommend for the piercing?

If this is your first cartilage piercing, i would not recomend an industrial piercing. hell, it was my second cartilage piercing and it was such a pain in the ass to take care of. eventually i retired it.
Totally agree. Cartledge piercings are such a bitch! I had mine pierced and washed it and cleaned it and everything it just wouldnt heal, it was always getting slightly infected, I couldnt sleep on that side of my head, it was terrible. One day i got fed up and took it out.
Yeah I know. I had so many sleepless nights because of my industrial piercing. After sleeping on one side of the head for so long, you just want to change it, but you cant because if you sleep on the other side, you risk fucking up the industrial piercing. I didnt lose mine that way. It got kicked at a concert, so I took out the foreward helix part, and I left the back helix in. later, the helix started having problems with the jewelry change and it got infected, then healed, then i took it out and let it close.
