Being around straight guys

If your like me and look completely straight, you get along, become friends with straight guys easily. How do you deal with that one conversation that brings up how hot he thinks some girl is or anything like that. Do you just go along and say "haha, yeah..." or tell them "I wouldn't know, I'm gay." How often do you have to tell people that you're gay when your a guy that looks straight?

 

I got the same thing going, people always assume I'm straight and for most folks I don't bother to tell them I'm gay...they never tell me they're straight. When it comes to the "hot babe" conversation I usually can honestly say if I can see that some one is attractive or not. So, I can honestly say yeah, she's nice or whatever. Sort of depends on whether or not you feel like going through the whole coming out thing or not. As far as I'm concerned theres a heluva lot people who dont need to know and wouldn't give a shit anyway...why waste the time to talk about it. Being gay is only one aspect of my life, not the focus.

 

Kinda like a problem my boyfriend has. He has a brother who knows he is gay but still comments about women while in conversation. I don't know what my boyfriend does in that situation... kinda awkward... what with the brother and all...

 

If you are in a certain circle where it doesnt register with anybody that you could be gay unless you're camp as; then probably not a good idea to bring it up unless you want a flashback to 5th grade sex ed
(Only this time its gay sex ed for grown ups and you are the teacher)
Especially if its over drinks

 

You could probably give an honest opinion on the girl anyway... Just because you're not sexually attracted to a girl doesn't mean you can't look at her and decide whether or not you thought she was pretty...at least enough to get by in the conversation.

 

I am gay but find myself more comfortable around girls than straight guys. Especially when they are commenting on girls walking past. I can still tell a nice looking girl with big !@#$ but I am not interested in them(but make out I am!).

 

The best way a gay guy to express himself is to get a penis tattoed onto his cheek like it's entering his mouth. Don't let others think you are straight when you're not, then ur just not being ur normal gay self. And the next guy that says mean stuff to you then just throw him down and buttrape him for about an hour in front of a lot of people, that'll teach him!
