I have to try some I've ebayed.
I bought some from ebay, and the sellers got good feedback (specific to the quality of the product) but I haven't tried it yet.

I haven't tried any bad stuff, though I'm relatively new to extracts. The effects aren't predictable even if you use standardized extracts so really I think any salvia out there can be fine, provided it's made right.
And for that, just check the seller's feedback.
Member az-maddoc on ebay sells a very nice sampler of 1/2 ounce plain leaves(dried), 20x x 3grams, 40x x 1 grame and tincture for a very good price. (search). Good feedback too.

Headshop prices are crazy.

Again, I can speak for Salviadragon(dotcom). They put Calea Z.("the dream herb") into their mix of extracts, not sure if it's marketting or enhancing the salvia, but I've had a couple serious experiecnes with their 10x and nice effects from the plain leaf.

Can't beat ebay though. Don't recall who, but I've had a seller message me and I get the impresion they like communication. Maybe to keep customers after eBay will not loner allow sale..might be a twofold benefit in getting it cheaper to also establish relationships that way, should obtaining the leaf become harder.

You'll find it cheaper elsewhere but its worth paying out an extra couple of quid for garaunteed top quality stuff.
