so today i was doing the usual just leave in enough time to get to school and speed, and i'll usually smoke a bowl while driving. so i was going 85 in a 55 on i-465, and a state cop pulled me over. When he was walking to the car i was so high i didn't remember my pipe was in my hand so i hurry and put in the center console. The officer was pretty nice and so was i, but now i got $150 ticket. And after i thought at least he didn't pull me over a mile back when i was going 95.
Exactly, even if you are being careful when smoking so no one notices, a cop will notice you going 30 mph over the speed limit, he then has a reason to pull you over, and then he will get a wiff of the weed, when you roll down your window. Like I said before to the op, your damn lucky.
i hear ya. i got pulled over on the way home from school once like 10 mins after i had smoked in my car once... it was a local cop, not a state trooper or anything, and he was dumb as fuck and completely oblivious to the fact that pot had just been smoked in my car... very lucky indeed.
I've talked to some state troopers ( ), and for the most part, minor drug charges aren't worth the trouble of them going to court to watch a kid get probation. They hate DUI, though. Be glad he didn't see you smoking.
haha wait so it was right on the dash board when he was talking to u? ur extremely lucky man, next time just follow the speed limit when tokin
i knew this would happen people saying to follow the rules, well the car probably won't smell when i have all windows a little down even though its cold and an air conditioner with air freshners on them. I was surprised i was able to answer his questions of what school i went to and if i had any other tickets (and i do for running a red light when i was lost 50 miles from home)
luckyyy.... If your plan is to go into politics, you shouldn't chance smoking and driving at the same time at all, let alone speeding while you're at it, LOL.
100 in a 40 around here and my lisence would be suspended, and I'd have to go to those driving classes.
