welcome to the forum. sorry, don't have any of his books. if you don't mind paying for them, you could also check e-bay or look on amazon but select the used or new option to find cheaper used books in good condition. if you are specifically looking to 'rescue' the books, post on your local freecycle asking if anyone has any they don't like.
Dangerous? Knowledge is never dangerous, only what people decide to do with it is dangerous. Consider: Alfred Nobel invented dynamite to make mining safer. The german government then used it to blow up Allied soldiers. Nobel made millions, but he was so sickened by the use his invention was put to he used his wealth to fund the Nobel prizes.
I agree, knowledge is neutral, it is its application that turns it into a positive or a negative force. Much more mainstream religious/spiritual texts than Crowley's have, arguably, greater potential for danger in that so many millions more accept their words as truth/knowledge and apply them in greatly divergent ways for positive or negative....
And in fact, when considered impartially, what Crowley said wasn't actually "evil". He only gained a reputation for being evil because a) he went against the established Christian religion and b) he was addicted to heroin later on in life. Crowley's Gnostic Mass is a wonderful celebration of nature and the seasons. Far from being the sarcastic, ironic Satanic Mass of Anton LaVey it was actually a rather moving ritual. maybe the church didn't like the word "mass" being used...
