Has anyone seen this besides me? I loved it. Very bloody and gory but great nonetheless. Johnny Depp was a fucking nutcase in this one...he deserves an Oscar nomination.
It's not out in the UK yet, but can't wait to see it! There is a Sweeny Todd bit in the London Dungeons - scared me a little!

I thought it was great. And a milestone film in Tim Burton's career as a filmmaker. Not only is it a musical, but Burton's goriest movie. Very much for adults. And even though his other films deal with adult themes, most kids could watch them, but not this one. Way to go, Burton, for finally delivering on the macabre!
Best movie ive seen in a long time!!! I cant stop listening to the soundtrack...im seriously contemplating going to see it in the theaters again and that says alot, since i hate movie theaters
I thought the show was a lot better, and the singing was a little off. It was, however, beautifully made.
I LOVED sweeney todd! the story, the music, and the overall atmosphere of the movie and the setting. london in the dark ages was a dirty ass place, and it was the perfect setting for the story. and i think the cast was perfect.
