I am also a minimalist. I see no point in going into a long winded speech when you can say it clearly in less words. I also hate repeating myself in conversations that just go 'round in circles because someone pretends they don't understand, and people who wish to pick apart what you said, line by line. All they do is waste time when you have already stated your case...

"In more words is less truth" is a pretty good saying and usually quite true, but the sentiment that I have heard and go by most usually is that the more you talk the less you learn. So, I've spent the majority of my life standing back, watching and listening to others. It's amazing what you notice if you stand apart from peoples ramblings and rants and WATCH... And also amazing what you'll see if you continue to try to communicate with someone who is AFRAID of being wrong, and who has not SHUT UP long enough to realize how they sound, let alone LISTEN...

BUT, the "powers that be" are NOT minimalists either, they are control freaks. Control freaks tend to be that way out of FEAR. People who will repeat what they think over and over again, no matter if it's right or wrong, so long as they get WHAT THEY WANT, because they can't handle not getting what they want. And that is exactly why we are in the mess we are in. And exactly why there are few GOOD GUYS in places of power. Because GOOD GUYS don't usually feel the need to overwhelm others with manipulative words and narrow ideas.
Which brings us back to the "shadow government". Of course there are people like that!
I see in daily life that people with "issues" tend to hang together. They somehow find each other, and discover a comaraderie. I truly think it's the same in politics and anything else. Right now, more than any other time, there is a greater assortment of SICK individuals in power. And put enough sick people with power all together in one spot and see what happens... ANYTHING is possible in that scenario.

earthmother, that was beautifully said. So very true, the control through constant talk. I've seen that in families, friends, church, organizations and of course politics. What's sad, and I think that's what Pressed_Rat has said as well, is that balance means constant chaos and order, there is no one without the other. We know that on a long enough timeline everything becomes corrupt, then comes back to order, and repeats. We also know what people en masse are sheep, and greedy sheep. Give a greedy sheep power, and what happens?

Could this whole illuminati thing be a necessary evil? Meaning that if it is true, wouldn't it take something of this nature to "awaken" the sheeple into becoming more unified and loving towards one another in order to expose and immobilize the controlling elites at the top?

We all (on hip forums) realize they have nothing we don't besides imaginary money and power. Aren't they kind of imploding on themselves? I would recommend alan watt, partially for what he has to say, but also about the books he mentions, as the actual goals, for this world, are in the freakin' books he mentions, that people continue to ignore. The credentials of the authors are listed, we know these authors are powerful. They list goals and have obvious clout, so this is not some conspiracy theory. These are books by men who know the true history and what is to come, and fund all (95%) of the leaders in the world, and control them.

 

It ALWAYS works this way. The worse things get, the more people start to realize something's up. Things get BAD enough, people start to organize and educate others. People don't realize how GOOD they have it until things get REAL BAD, then they start to see it, even if they are of the "soap opera mentality" It's balance. It's the play of opposites.

Another thing that seemingly always happens is that no matter HOW much power a power hungry person attains, and no matter how intelligent that person appears to be, power corrupts in varying ways. People grow too sure of themselves and get sloppy. MANY people like that are INSANE, which means they are not even thinking CLEARLY. They might think they have it all together a lot more than they really do. It's called being delusional. So, it's not too hard to imagine that something that STARTED OUT intending to be "secret", when looked at in this way, will not be able to REMAIN a secret forever...
