Does anybody have anything good or bad to say about a sternum surface piercing? I would like to look into getting it done I personally think it would be sweet but I havent heard much about them so if anybody has anything to say I'd appreciate it

Well, surface piercings in general are tricky to heal. Make sure you use a surface bar, which looks like a staple with balls on the points. Curved/straight barbells and rings put way to much pressure on the piercing and will cause it to reject. Also, make sure you go to a piercer with surface experience and ask to see pictures of healed surface piercings he's done.

Another route is to consider dermal anchoring. If you got two close together, they look like a surface piercing and seem to be easier to heal.

    Cheers
