I would rather die than be sentenced to life in prison. I would not enjoy being butt raped every day for the rest of my life. And you would have to have done some pretty fucked up shit to be on death row in the first place. Either way, I would welcome the new beginning.
Yeah being sentanced to life is prison is FAR worse then being execute, at least from my point of view. I mean would you rather be miserable for the next few decades (or however long it is) or just die and not have to suffer anymore? I don't think it's very possible to escape from death row, as I'm sure the guards and cops know that you have nothing to lose.

If your prepared to go quietly and be killed by lethal injection.. then why not take your chances and go out all guns blazing? you'll probably die that way as well... but at least there is that small chance you'll be tokin those nugs once more while sippin on a beer. I'm sure your left alone for at least some of the time while on death row... even if the best escape you can muster would be to run of in your straight jacket and head butt anyone that challenges you.. then why not? you have nothing to lose.

In that case......well it would really have to depend on the circumstances. If I deserve death then so be it. But if I were on death row for possession of any drug I would attempt fighting my way out. I mean I'm going to die anyway, so if I get caught I'll just die sooner.....

No one deserves to have their life taken away... rapist.. murderer the lot. Revenge makes a person just as bad as the person in question... killing someone doesn't teach them anything.. it is malicious revenge and the people responsible are just as bad as the people they convict.
It would be a hell of a rush to make a run for it though. There must be at least a couple of times on death row that you aren't being held onto.. and aren't in your cell. When that occasion comes around.. do anything you can to the guard thats with you.. and away you go.. it may be short lived.. but better than giving in.
Sounds fun if you've never been on death row. But lets think for a sec.. sure your not held onto 100% of the time, and there may be a chance for you to 'make a run for it', but after you get past that first guard theres already 20 more waiting for you on the other side. You've failed at life a hundred times before that point, that'd just add one more. I could think of a million better things to do while on death row. Personally I'd pray for forgiveness with every breath.
Well if you believe in god.. then thats another story. Otherwise.. i'd take my chances at being the first prisoner to ever escape a prison while handcuffed.
If I were on death row I would take it like a man. How-ever life in Prison is a different story. I would probably die trying to escape. I would honestly rather die than spend the rest of my life in Prison.
i believe in euthanasia and that people should be able to help people commit suicide if they want but not in forced death. i guess id do pretty much any thing to escape cause what do u have to loose after uve been sentenced to death row.
I'm not sure... but I don't think that the death penalty is there for "revenge". I think its there, because rather than taking up a perfectly good cell for a "low-life" that's just going to sit there and not do anything for 30 years, why not conserve some space and kill the guy. I've never really thought about it, but if the death oenalty IS only there as a means of punishment, and not as logical space conservation, then I believe it is unjust. But, if I myself was there, I would spend that time meditating, and trying to find out some answers of my life. Surely you're allowed to read, eh? I would love to read and meditate(IF I was already going to be there forever) I would definitely postpone my questionable eternity for as long as possible. Especially if I had done something so horrible as to be put on death row. Maybe my eternity won't be as good as others. (Although my current beliefs are that one won't be punished eternally for his actions here on earth, because we were created imperfect, so technically, its not ALL our fault if we go astray somewhere along the road)
lol funny funny thread... and if i was on death row or life in prison i would try to escape daily... lol also ide rather have life in prison then death row because with life in prison you can choose to end your own life if you want to... hang yourself with your sheets and just cut your wrist or bite your wrist...
