Screen For My Bowl? Input Please

So my wood pipes bowl is too deep in my opinion and i was wondering if you can use the screens under the sink heads in a wood pipe.
Also how do i take a screen off a sink head?

Lol, I've been wondering the same. I'm in desperate need for a screen, and I can't go anywhere and buy anything right now.

 

Desperate eh? haha go to your local head shop you can get about 20 screens for $1. Or if you don't live near a head shop, I would be willing to bet somewhere like Lowes carries the same material

 

Or me best advice:
Get a glass piece

use a peice of your window scren, or as securley stated go to Lowes and if your looking for the easiest meathod tinfoil and toothpick FTW

 

yes the screen from a sink will work.

use a pair of channel locks and screw the end of the faucet off..

the water is gonna come out funky without it though.. so if ya dont want anyone to notice,they will..

the hardware store sells them,, there cheap.. just look in the plumbing section..

Prod at the faucet with your finger to get it out. and yes it works, ive done it 93 times, a lot of screenless faucets cause of me

 

never use a window screen or any screen that you would find at your house, there coverd in dangerous chemicals that you do not want to inhale. if you do decide to, try putting the screen in the flame of your lighter, that nasty black smoke that comes off is what will go into your lungs if you smoke it. if you cant get a screen just plug up the hole with a bigger piece of nug or something

 

I like to use glass bowls and glass screens. Glass screens aren't glass mess but rather little star shaped pieces that help keep you from sucking up the bud. If you can't get one, don't crush your weed up so much or use a piece to block the whole then put some ground up weed on top, like someone else suggested. Don't start using screens that were not made for smoking because you don't know what is in it. You may get lucky and get one that isn't harmful, you may get one that is slowly giving off toxic chemicals.

 

ugh,.personally i hate screens..unless your bowl sucks out mad greens..then it's kind of necessary but..idk i hate them

 

Maybe just poke some holes in a piece of aluminum foil and press that into your bowl? That worked for me once when I was in a pinch (out of screens).

 

Absolutley best high ive had, was with a diffusing perk, and a glass screen..

You can use your faucet screen though. no "dangerous chemicals" have done any harm to me. didnt kill anymore braincells than normal :tongue:

 

That's the worst thing to use, aluminum foil. That will give off toxic vapors. It might not kill you but it isn't good for you in the long run at all.

 

I wouldn't say it's the worst thing to do. I think using your window screen is probably a lot worse.
I've used foil pipes before and I'm okay. It's not something you should do constantly, but for a quick fix it'll be just fine.
