If You Like Explosions In The Sky.....

If anyone hasnt heard of this band called The Six Parts Seven, you should check them out. If you like Explosions in the sky or any inde instramental like that you will like this band. Let me know what you think. Let me know of some other bands that you like also.

I like em too, but when it comes to rock, I typically like my mathed out thumping bass rythms to make my ears bleed. When I listen to LB (especially on LSD) it feels like my mind and body are being electrocuted, but there is harmony and beautiful sound scapes hidden behind the noise that balances it out and makes it so peaceful at the same time. Im probably the only kid at their shows who is in bliss and peace compared to the kids punching each other in the face :tongue:

I know what you mean, though. their sound is so rapid that when I listen to any LB song for long enough, it becomes this beautiful, almost ambient drone. there are things going on behind the wall of noise, definitely.

 

You should check out Godspeed you! Black Emperor, they kick every other instrumental rocks ass. Do say may think! (sp?) is worth checking out, too. So is Mono and Silver Mt Zion
