K so i've wanted dreads for a long time. I got some that someone els cut off. how would I attatch them to my 5in hair? I saw extention glue on ebay. (good?)(bad?) I want to see what I look like with dreads before I commit to them life long.
Thats creepy that you have someone elses hair to clip into yours... Uhm, superglue! and ducttape! You could just grow them to see when you have a few if you like them....
try using a felting needle, you'll have to felt all of your 5 inches into the dread to make sure it stays.
are you trying to permanently attach them? If so the felting needle would be good... if not i guess I would just tie them on with some yarn that is the same color.

rofl Ohh, that webpage is a nifty lil tutorial. 'cept I'm sure it'll be harder to accomplish with way short, straight hair. Not impossible of course, but man will your arms get tired.
haha, thats great!! i know many people with locks that have chunks of other peoples hair in them. I went on the little trip last week and when i wasnt looking a boy dreaded in a dog hair rope they had made in survival class, and its still there. i tied a little bit of yarn around it just so it didnt fall out. good luck..
hahahaha! When I read this thread, I almost pissed myself. Please, glue someone else's dreads in your hair, CUZ I WANNA SEE IT! Could you film it too so it can be on You Tube? lol. I am invisioning it in my head and I can't stop laughing.
well i did it for one night I just banded them in with tiny (braces) rubberbands it looked really funky at the roots so I wore a bandana I would post pics but it says they are to large a file it was fun.
