Newbie with questions...

Hey everyone,

I plan on planting some MJ in the spring in the woods near my house... There's a little creek nearby the woods, so it helps a lot. Anyway, the best time for me to plant is mid May because that's when I get done with all my exams and stuff, but I am willing to plant earlier if necessary. And I want to harvest by the end of August LATEST.
So I was debating which strain to get - Early Misty or First Girl? Both are said to have short growth/flowering periods, and both produces roughly the same per plant, and both are very resilient and disease/insect resistant.

Which one should I buy?

 

Screw both of them, man. If you wanna make some REAL money, invest in some white rhino seeds. It makes around 500g's outdoors. Their easy to care for. They also have a very high ammount of THC. Look em' up. You like planting late in the year eh?

 

I can plant anytime in April or May... But I HAVE TO harvest by the third week of August, and I think autoflowering plants are my only options...

 

Not necessarily man, it depends on were ya live. What country ya live in?

 

Now, I'm going to be Guerrilla growing in a nearby woods, and I can plant anytime in May, April, even late March. But I have to harvest by the third week of August.
Here is a sunrise and sunset chart (Notice at the bottom, it says add one hour of daylight when using the chart....)

Which strain would you recommend? The smoke I'm looking for is 50/50 high/stone. Also, smell is not a huge issue, but the less the smell the better.

You could induce flowering via putting a large cardboard box over them (if it doesn't rain), or using dark plastic to cover them.

August in new jersey is still prime growing time, and they won't flower... unless you're doing an auto flowering strain as mentioned (low thc content imo).

I'd look into some Top 44, short flowering time.
