I read both Christ and the Antichrist in my KJ Bible. Do you? There are too many scripture on love hope, faith and other positive issues for me to bother having you read a bunch of quotes. There are as many scripture that ring more as coming from an Antichrist. I will only bother with the one not from lack of availability but for brevity. Deut21-18 If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that, when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them: 19 Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place; 20 And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard. 21 And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear. I don’t want to particularly debate this example and hope that most will recognize why I believe that only an Antichrist would come up with such a philosophy. I believe that there was an attempt by those who compiled the various books of the Bible to insert the essence of the tree of knowledge of good and evil within it’s pages so that the debate and search for God would be stimulated by the dissemination of scripture. I think that their consensus was that there was a God but that His philosophy was not yet fully written and that it would some day be revised. To read the Bible literally seems silly in light of the fact that it is only a fraction of the books that were considered and indeed only a fraction of the books now known to exist. So, is there a Christ and an Antichrist speaking out of the Bible, or is God as cruel as some say He is because of scriptures like the above? Regards DL.
The Antichrist, truly isn't evil or of the "devil". It's just a bunch of propaganda from the Christian church to condemn the next great leader in the evolution of mankind's consciousness. They don't want change.
The answer will depend on how you see the world. Christ, is your natural state, outside of your human identity. Anti-Christ is the mind. It desires. And the things it desires slowly wall up around you till its all you can see, thereby cutting off your view of your true identity. Jesus was dualistic. He had both a human and divine nature and this point comes through in what is written about him. x
We all have two natures, the political and the spiritual. I do not give Jesus divinity because it would be incest for God to impregnate Mary and reproduce God. Not a situation that a God open Himself to. Jesus was a great prophet and Rabbi but did not do His mother to reproduce Himself. Regards DL
It's a good thing most Christians don't read their Bibles that closely, or that some of these passages just don't register. There are some really great, inspiring, life-changing messages, but also some like the one you quoted. It was obviously not God giving dictation, but humans trying to put spiritual insights into language they and their contemporaries could understand. I don't take it literally, and read it with the overall themes in mind, particularly the life and message of Jesus: unconditional love.

To be born of a virgin, in the spirtual sense, has nothing to do with sex. Advanced souls often return to earth to help humanity along. They have no karmic obligation to return here, but do so by their own will. Birth of such a person is considered virginal. The body is created by sex, but the soul is free from debt. A virgin birth. x
Never meet a reincarnated entity so I do not know their rules. I guess you have to know so much about them. I have never heard it applied to Christianity though. To me, Mary would need a natural physical sperm to reproduce. Neat trick for a disembodied spirit to create and here I thought that only God could create something from nothing. Joseph impregnated Mary. The physical body is created naturally, but the soul that came with it is different than an average person. It's important that people see someone like Jesus as human first and divine later. Jesus was a living example of what a common person can aspire to, so care has to be taken that his humble beginnings are not overlooked. Jesus overcame the physical anti-christ world. So can you. x
