Hey how many mg's do you need to feel effects from adderall. Most of the peoples adderalls that I have tried did absolutely nothing to me. But then the other day I took my friends adderall which is 35mg's and I felt effects for a couple hours and it was a pretty fun experience. But my question is how many mg's of adderall do you need to get the effects?

Threshold 10-15 mg. Usefull 20-60 mg. Recreational, well it isn't recreational for me, I mean it can be, rarely, depending on what I'm doing or who I'm with. In those circumstances the dosages are something like 30 to 80 mg. There is a dysphoria that comes with the euphoria, and the speedyness lasts about an hr per 10 mg, but I know the drug still has an effect for a longer time. Food consumption, how much sleep u gotten recently, and body pH are factors. One thing that I am not totally sure about is its equivalence to pure dextroamphetamine, one calculation I did was 65%, the other 43%.

35 mg?? Who makes that? Last I've heard 30 mg was the highest pill. They ought to make a 35 mg XR.

    Yeah, they don't make 35mg pills. Doses for the immediate-release tablet come in 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5, 15, 20, and 30 milligram strengths. Doses for the extended-release capsule come in 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 milligram strengths.

Adderall is about 72% Dextroamphetamine, according to Wikipedia. These are still salts though.

Actual Dexedrine (straight Dextroamphetamine) is far more recreational IMO.

I snorted 30 mg about 2 hours ago.

I am flying Haha, my first time and it works! Focusing is so easier!

I used to take Ritalin most of my life, which is different compound, but still, it's not like my old feeling from taking Ritalin. It's way more sociabal, energetic. I can never focus on work anymore, until now.

But this has got to be like it. I just have to pull 2 all nighters for homework/Decathalon, so I'm expermenting. Though I feel a bit shitty about it, oh well. I could just go ge a precription from a doctor for it with my ADHD.

After I snorted it, 5 minutes later or so my legs got super restless like I wanted to jog (this ended mostly) and my hands have been cold. Usual symptoms, these are?

Anyone else feel like its the intellectual, talkative, thinking high you get from weed? I mean, it's like the best part of weed (for me), right here! But it isn't a new habit...I mean...I'm not even in college yet! Haha...

Sorry if I sound so damn like a dork.

You sound like a dude on speed =P

If you've done it a lot it seems to lose it's usefulness. All it makes me do anymore is become extremely indecisive, highly anxious and stressed about everything, paranoid as hell, and generally it's just not fun. However as Ive said before its fun with others.

Is Ritalin and its sister brand name pills the same kind of high as Adderall? Do I get as racy (I mean when I took it I could tell the difference to the rare time I didn't take it that day, but it was more natural feeling)? Or is it much less subtle and not in demand on colleges and stuff?

FYI, Ritalin is Methylphenidate, and Adderall is an amphetamine-related stimulant.

Adderall IS amphetamine, the D stereoisomer, split into 4 salts that release at different time to be exact.

That's why Dexedrine, which is the stereoisomer alone is very recreational as opposed to ADD med-like

I find Methylphenidate is more coke-like and less smooth then amphetamine

Ya just talked to that guy, I accidently wrote 35 mgs because man I really only done adderall about 3 times so I'm not to informed on that kind of stuff, i mainly just smoke and shrooms i guess. But ya he said it was a 30 mg pill, n 2 day i took that 30 mg pill and 2 hours later took a 20 mg booster pill.

i feel effects from less than 5mg snorted. 10mg is enough for it to be fun, and the highest i usually go is 60mg. but i take lots of breaks, and i'm a pretty small person. vitamin c and caffeine reduce it's effects. so does having too much food in your stomach. the most effective way to take it is to crush it up and dissolve it in water and drink the water. but snorting is the most fun :D.

Methylphenidate tends to be less strong and shorter duration, it is the shorter duration that makes it sometimes attractive to me. If Adderall is barbell squats then Ritalin is the leg press. You can use more weight on the leg press and its effects are somewhat less general.
