Hey I heard that people that have been smoking for longer periods of time dont get bloodshot eyes AS bad as first timers. I have smoker alot of bud i mean alot and have been smoking for awhile (under a year) but like an eighth everyday the whole summer. And my eyes get sooo beet red after only like 2 or 3 bowls. Whats the deal you think it will ever go away? thanks and PEACE
Yes I agree with you and I understand however all bud does this but shake my eyes dont get as red. This summer my friend was nice enough to buy 80 dollars worth of mids and keif. We smoked some of it during the day and then at night we finished it off at my house and his eyes werent even the slightest bit red and mine were awful! It must be genetics or something. But yes I think there is a realationship between the strains
My eyes stopped getting bloodshot after smoking everyday for months after months.. After a while I think your blood vessels just get used to the smoke.. I guess it's different for everyone though.. If I take a break which is unusual they might start getting bloodshot again. It's all about your eyes getting used to it on a daily basis =P I like it though, no more visine or clear eyes.
I think it varies from person to person. I've been smoking every day for years now, and my eyes never really got red to begin with. My friend, however, who has been smoking longer, always gets red eyes, even when we are smoking the same bowl...
my eyes usually are pretty clear even after some bud, the only problem with me is allergies and insomnia
ive been smoking for 6 years, last 3 pretty much daily, and i noticed the eyes stopped getting bloodshot after about a year of daily smoking. but strain and amount smoked is a factor to.
I'm lucky, my redeye seemed to pretty much go away after I started smoking reletively heavily. I still get a redish tinge when i'm really really baked though.
I can promise you that the amount you smoke or how long you smoke has nothing to do with how red your eyes get. As someone who has smoked many pounds of pot and has smoked for over 15 years, my eyes still get red like they did when I was 13 and just started. the fact that I have red hair magnifies the problem kind of accentuates the redness of my eyes.
Well my eyes are obviously different to yours then. I used to get it BAD, now I hardly get it at all.
got you beat by about a year Ryan..hehehe My eyes get really red too, I think it depends on the actual eyes you have...Mine get really "liddy" when I'm high or drunk...its always obvious...other people I know seem to hide it better physically.
the reason your eyes get bigger is because weed relaxes the muscles around all the blood vessels in teh body. this counteracts the fast heartbeat to keep you safe. I dont know which would have come first, fast heart beat or relaxed muscles, or whether the drug only actually affects one of those, and the other is a reprocussion. at any rate, it affects everyone differently one of my friends isnt affected much another is heaps for me, my left eye is affected less than my right (which is really wierd caus my right pupil is also constantly dilated more than my left)
I'm sure it also depends on how much fluid you have in your system. Like some ppl drink alot of water everyday, some don't.
nar that affects it zilch. I drink heaps of water, and some of my firneds dont drink any water, nothing is reflected by the eyes.
Well I know this girl who has this friend whose brother's girlfriend's cousin said that he knew this guy once who could smoke and drink water and his eyes would be fine.
it depend on you i used to get red eye of 1 toke so bad there was no white in my eyes, but now sumtime i dnt get it after a whole joint sumtimes i do onbly way to get rid of it is visene or a few hours sobering up lol
I never really got blood shot eyes, but when you are smoking all the time some people don't realise you are stoned cos you always look the same (wasted) even when you are not stoned.
