Hi..I am really into far-out things, like exploring the unknown and the like.
And I really dig expanding my awareness without harming my brain, which is why I am into meditation..
But recently I havn't been meditating as much as I should do.
'Cause like things are on my mind..and it's a drag to be that way.and I know it..And when I do find the peace of mind to meditate,I always get distracted by my monkey mind..And I need help, maybe any of you have had the problem before..

So,really I ask any of you out there,if you know some kind of meditation tecnique that would help me or helps you..then bring it to me please..

    Thanks,

The best method for me to enter deep meditiation:

I always lie down on a hard floor with a blanket under me, and a pillow. I lay on my back, and try to make my self as flat and tense as possible, and make every muscle in my body as tense as posible. I do that until it takes all my concentration to hold it and stay there. Until nothing is in my mind except the intent to hold my body in this state. Then, I forgot after while, and slowly relax. I go through and try to feel every individual muscle, and I relax each one totally. By the time I am done, I am so relaxed it almost hurts. Then I concentrate on my diaphragm, its motion and where it is in my body as I breathe. I eventually just slip away into total relaxation, and my mind is free from the bonds and it just goes, while my ego watches from afar and tries its hardest not to interfere and pull my being back to the now. I also sometimes do some yoga postions to help relax and stretch. And sometimes, when I can't sleep, I will hold one of the more difficult positions to the most extreme that I can until I am burning with strain and pain and contention, and then after I while I will slip into a deep meditative state.

Quite simply... take out all distractions. Allow yourself to focus in meditation....

Lights are best off out. Shutters closed, music off, or at least quiet and without lyrics. Nothing more than dim candlelight.

That alone helps focus in meditation.

The best way I've found is to not make a big deal out of anything you think. Don't supress your mind and don't encourage it either.

Also I've found that removing distractions doesn't help all that much. Having minor distractions gives your monkey mind something to do so that your Wildmind can do what you need.

Just watch your monkey mind look at all the distractions and then get bored, watch it go through all the things happening in your life, and watch it get bored with that as well.

    Blessings
