is it just me..... or is this band extremely disterbing?.... i mean.... im all for the peace and love stuff.... but this is just to the point of cornyness... then again... it may just be something in me that needs correcting....
no, its not the band that I find disturbing, it is the cult following that is quite disturbing. I just dont see what some people's obsession is with this band.
I'm not into them...... but I have a strange crush on the cult leader....oops, I mean....lead singer Something about him I like........*shrugs*
I dig their music, but sometimes it's a bit disturbing seeing them thrash around on stage. Almost as if they're too happy and don't know what to do with the feeling.
i liked the first commercial i saw while i was REALLY up there on some 2CE and i was all luvy duvy like i was rollin hard.
Why do people keep calling them a cult? It was formed by some of the bandmates from tripping daisy. They're just a bunch of singers
they have a cult following. there are quite a few bands like this. They arent very popular in the mainstream, but they have a huge following of fans that tend to really get involved in the show, and follow them around. They are a cult band.
those guys scare the crap out of me...when i looked at their cd in the store, like every song had 'day' or 'light' in it. no one can be that happy...they're the devil! you follow them and they'll decieve you and lead you to hell!
haha is this thread a joke? tons of bands have following that follow them around and go to there shows and are happy all the time like that, one that comes to mind...hmmm the grateful dead?? when I first saw them I thought of them as a choir, only way more hip personally I love polyphonic and yes a nice cold glass of kool-aid would be nice as well
wow, I love Polyphonic ... especially being able to see them play the koolaid does go over well with the Spree ... ... of course nothin like the Dead, but Polyphonic does well
Polyphonic is cool I like Tripping Daisy better though I live near Dallas so just the other day I went to Tim's record store, the Good Records. It's pretty neat!
