Thrift stores make shopping easy. Best way to shop imo. It's fun to look and dirt cheap if you actually find anything. All you need is a couple crumpled up dollar bills and you've got yourself an outfit. My boyfriend gets all his old man pants at 'um, too. I like thrift stores.

Thrift stores are great. I get plenty of nice clothes from most of them.

One of the few things I really miss about living in London. Charity shops.

I buy a lot of books from charity shops and jewellery as well, however I never seem to find any nice clothes there as most of them seem to be old people's clothes.

I hardly ever get to go to thrift stores because the closest ones are all in Amarillo, which is a half-hour drive away and they all close at 6 and I don't get off work most days until 5, not to mention we have no car, lol. So that sucks.

When I was in Scotland I saw alot of those charity shops, I wish we would have had time to check them out.

thrift stores are great. i only wish polytheist were allowed to opperate a chain of them called dagda's caldron.

when i'm near and can get to one, i like browsing through them. when i was by myself i used to get all my clothing from them. i don't like spending more then i have to on anything i 'have' to have (to stay out of trouble with the rest of human society).

but its the odd fiddly bits of (supposedly) 'obsolete' tecnology that always fascinate me, and what i always like finding (and finding or imagining creative ways of intigrating their parts). of course i love non-'obsolete' tecnologies that i can use in creative and environmentally harmonious ways even more.

I like thrift stores just because you never know what you're going to find, and it's always an adventure searching through everything in there.

In the town I grew up in there used to be "church sales" once a month where you could find some of the rarest and most unique items for unbelievable prices.

I miss those so much, I grew up around things like that.
