It's minus 11 degrees here in north branch, with a wind chill of 20 or so below, and the wife and I just went grocery shopping. Let's just say that while loading the items into my car I had snot iceicles in my nose. Why, am I telling you this? I dunno, but thought you might enjoy the comments.
that sucks. i thought 30 degrees F. was cold yesterday. i dont think i can handle living in below 0 weather.
It could be worse and still might get there. A few years back we had a a negative 27 day and a wind chill was like minus 40. I don't mind too terrably much except when I get up for work at 5am and have trouble starting my car. I really need a block heater.
yea or having to wash off those damn icicles on your windshield. wait how do you do that without the water freezing over it?
We have to scrape the ice off, though there is specially formulated fluid that works to some extent as well.

it´s -5ºF with -22ºF windchill where i´m at right now (northwest WI). that´s at 5pm, too. it´s gonna get much colder as the night progresses. forcast says -22ºF as the overnight low, with -30ºF windchill. i walked about 5-6 blocks (10 min max) at noon when it really wasnt much warmer, and i had icicles all over my moustache and beard. i hear ya man! it´s focking cold!
