what to do before 12/21/2012

If the Mayans are correct and the world does end 12/21/2012, what do you have left to accomplish for you to perish without any regrets? For me:
1) Become a CPA (even if the world does end, I've wasted too much time and money to not at least reap a few years worth of the benefits)
2) Go to the Cannabis Cup.
3) Own a BMW

mayans never predicted the end of the world, just end of the era. dont buy into the hype of idiots reading complicated material < this is often the formula for misunderstandings and idiocy of the common world.

 

^ Indeed, it is simply the end of their calendar. Apocalypse and change in consciousness are just things thought of by today's conscious beings and not remeniscent of any Mayan predictions at all.
Although, if the Mayans ended their calendar on 2012, it probably is for a reason that we will find out in 4 years. But until then, I say bah.

funniest theory i have heard is that the world will blow up xD.

i dunno, before i believed that an alien invasion would begin because mayan drawings/structures/calendar have been partly linked with extra terrestrial knowledge, kinda tough for a bunch of native hunters, spiritual preachers and gathererers to work out such info so correctly. i looked into it more, and its just the end of this time, new begginings bring peace and love, change and different views and perceptions. personally, 2011 december 20-26 i will be getting drunk and getting high, no matter what. though for all you know, the calendar might just stop because they allready made it so long, everything stops at some point.

 

I have lost so much sleep thinking about 12/21/2012.

Its an obsession of mine. I dont think the world is gonna end. But I know something is going to happen. Its one of those gut instincts. My bet is on a global change in conscience brought on by some sort of disaster.

Cause that is most likely what it is gonna take to change the world is a huge disaster.


Anyways what I want to get accomplished is Mountain Biking down El Camino De La Muerto(sp). The worlds most dangerous road.

I also want to talk face to face with president bush, but who doesnt want to do that?

 

^ but dont you see, no one can predict the future^. im suprised how many atheist people buy into this, its just again trying to feel special that the universe cares about you so much that its making global events in the honor of humanity. it happened with Y2K, it happened with many solar eclipses, constantly someone claims oh its the end of the world, and constantly ppl buy into it.

honestly if ur obsessed with it and affraid do what i do when im paranoid:
basicly u can spend ur high thinking about cops/parents/jail and get busted with a wasted high, or you can not think about it, enjoy it and if u get busted - atleast you had a good time. < chances are, you WILL NOT get busted. same with this, just block it out and enjoy life, if it happens - atleast you know you didnt spend 4 yrs worrying over it, if it doesnt happen, you will realise you spent 5 yrs worrying over NOTHING, and feel incerdibly silly.

 

I dont beleive I ever said I was afraid. I probably worded what I said wrong. I am not afraid of what may or may not happen I am just really interested to know what it is. I rack my brain and come up with all these really really messed up situations that could bring on a global change in conscience.

But I do see where you are coming from and I probably shouldnt think about it as much as I do.

 

I want to make sure my son(who will be 7 by then) can start a fire, and hunt, and know basic first aid, just in case. I don't think the world will blow up, but we can predict some of the future. we know that even if we "fix" the global warming problem right now, the planet will continue to get hotter over a number of years, before it cools down.

I think that some part of the social structure will collapse. maybe it will be because of food shortages, or floods, or hurricanes, or drought, or well anything else, but I think that humanity will go on either way, and I would like to be prepared. maybe its the rapture, in which case, im more than happy to stay here, maybe its aliens, maybe an asteroid. maybe the new pope croaks, or the earth heaves up and tries to shake us off.

anyway, think on this: there is an election this year, 12/21/2012 falls in between an election and an inauguration if the next prez is voted off the show. i mean, out of office. I don't know, something to think about. no sense in being scared or paranoid, just prepared for life. things everyone should know, just in case of a disaster.
just my 2 cents.

 

we cannot fix the global warming problem, because it is not us that caused it. its the natural climate change of the planet, we only contribute something like 3-4% to the problem the rest is from nature and esp the sea. i saw a documentary on it with evidence easily backed up through science. the we did it shit goes on because if the world is told the truth, hopelessness will cause chaos, and also 100 000 people would lose jobs, its far more easier to keep playiing the game.

 

i want to do all the drugs i can december. and if the aliens come, im off to grow weed on other planets baby!!!

4) Go to a super bowl, world series, nba/nhl championships, world cup, ncaa basketball and football championships and an allblack rugby match
5) See the 7 wonders of the world

those are the main things i want to do before then, just incase if something does happen, I know I have accomplished the main things that I want to do in mylife
