Well, Hawk & I have become good friends and have cooresponded very regularly since I became a member......really an intriguing man, he is and I enjoy his letters about his daily life. With all the Hurricanes running rampid in Florida, especially this last one....I haven't heard anything at all from him and now I am worried that I may never hear from him again and be left hanging in limbo wondering what happened & if he is alright! You have better odds of him calling you up and saying he won the lottery or found a needle in a haystack than being killed by that storm. His power is just out honey.
for real. not many ppl dies in that storm. i just bet they have no electricity. not a lot of ppl do right now in that area. prolly be back when power gets restored

Took my boat up the river before Ivan hit the coast. Flora-Bama got the worst of it ,but since we were on the East side, we got a lot of wind and rain. The boat rode it out very well and I had a great time partying with the others up there. Even did some kayaking between blows. Otherwise,just smoked lots of weed and consumed plenty of rum.... that's what sailboat trash does. Thanks for your concern, my darling one!
