I rarely, if ever come in here, probably because I'm not a woman, but I have a question: why do so many women make their hair blonde? I live in California, so i know this might cause a increase in the number I see here as opposed to anywhere else, but honestly, why the fake blonde hair? I personally, get bored of it really fast.
I have fake blonde hair because I like it better. My hair is normally dark brown, and it makes me look very pale and sick (I think). I try to go brown all the time, but I hate it. I go a little bit darker in the winter time though. but I have also had my hair many many different colors so I dunno. I know a few girls who think they have to dye their hair blonde to get a guy, but thats just stupid. Guys aren't worth the upkeep for blonde hair LOL. Just kidding!
yeah brunettes generally draw more attention from me...but not everyone looks ideal in their natural hair color, so if they like something else, good for them
I think Britney Spears may have made it popular? Some people just don't look right with their natural color, but those are rare. Most of the time it just looks silly. I did the blonde thing about three years ago and it was horrible, my hair still isn't back to normal. I live in eastern Kentucky, so most of the blondes you see are pill whores who used some cheap at-home kit and didn't know what they were doing. The result is an ugly burnt orange color. Everyone thinks Kentucky is full of rednecks, but it's mostly just idiots on meth and OC. Off topic here, but yea, anyway. What's with all the blonde?
I'm a natural blonde, but I've been dyeing my hair red for about a hear and a half. Blondeness makes me blend in with the walls - I have super pale skin.
More like Marilyn Monroe... Chicks have been bleaching their hair since the days of the Roman Empire.... Britney just made it tacky....
Our society has considered blondes to be more attractive than other people forever. It's just one of those cultural things. Not one that I particularly agree with, I might add.
my hair grows from head blonde as blonde can be - and i do not look borig, or the same as everyone else, thank you very much!
it makes me laugh when girls dye their hair blonde and then tell everyone it;s natural. "oh no boys! it was the sun! the sun bleached out my hair!" i feel like saying "oh yea? how do you explain your black roots, did a cloud go by?" har!
i hate fake blonde hair... well the super blonde stuff that those cheesy blonde bimbo types have, normal blonde haor dye is alright.
all hair colors can be purdy, as long as u find what fits u i think the question raised in this thread is more like : why do pple dye their hair blonde just cuz everybody else does? cuz apparently yea, in cali most girls are blonde, and its unlikely that they're all natural blondes, so why do they think its in to be a blonde? my theory : theres a concentration of dumb girls in cali, the ones who have a boob job and/or a nose job at the age 15 are the same who think that if they're not blonde they're ugly. im kiddin. to a certain extent..
perhaps from the expression, 'Blondes have more fun'? I am lucky to have a boyfriend who digs my brunette head.. Actually more like blackish hair since I'm chinese. But many Chinese here hate their black hair.
It's a matter of individual taste; some men find blonde girls more attractive than brunnettes and vice versa... Redhead are much more interesting IMO
my best friend and roommate has the bleach blonde "bimbo" style hair you guys are likely referring to. and you know what? she's incredibly beautiful, original, creative, and anything but generic. she dyes her hair because she damn well likes it. tomorrow it might be green, the next day purple - whatever she feels like. lighten up kids it's just hair! if you don't like it fine, but don't make judgements about people for expressing themselves. bimbo my ass.
This is a good thread. I was born a brunette. But, when I was 18-just turned soon after I bleached my hair blonde...People always asked me if I was puerto rican and then they asked me much more. I didn't feel any different being blonde-not drastically dif.. I did do it for a fun change with my friend. I do regret that it destroyed the healthy state of my hair-Like chemicals do.And I regret doing it at one time. It is best to gradually lighten hair-never bleaching it! Oh, wisdom with age...that is so true. However, as far as blondes go-Natrual blondes are very attractive. Especially the hippy chicks that do not dye their hair and let it have it's light and dark variations. Brunettes have always turned my head faster however-but that doesn't mean I dislike all blondes or think that they aren't attractive. Take for instance Gwyneth Paltrow- she is so beautiful inside and out. Britney Spears/Christing Aguilera- Not even in the same category as Ms.Gwyn and I don't consider them beautiful. Although they may be attractive....2 some blondes r cool -but thank GOD for brunettes!!!
