I'm looking for good music for yoga. The thing is, though, I'd prefer not the traditional nature sounds, nor Indian flutes, etc. Honestly, I've been practicing to Miles Davis' "Kind of Blue" or nothing. Is there anyone out there with a similar mentality that could reccomend something?
Spend $1 or less. Rubber earplugs and your own internal sounds. Especially one that sounds like a continuous bell tone. x
ravi shankar and philip glass - prashanti ali akbar khan (any of his work) :bigear: go to www.last.fm to listen yes!

hmm...atleast you can say if you liked or didn't liked the recommendations we made, that would not be hard to do ,right? peace
Sorry about that! I really appreciate you guys taking the time to respond to me! I haven't had time to go over all the music yet, but I like what I have heard so far. Thanks again!
I went to a festival over the summer and on the second morning they had free yoga and they brought in a group of people to play atmospheric music while we did positions. It was really cool! Such interesting instruments. Later on they played on the large stage and they were crazy! Just thought I share a story since you've already got so many replies.
That sounds cool! I'd love to do that type of stuff (and plan to in about 4 months when I reach the big 1-8!). Thanks for the story!
Don't be sorry. I just realized i sounded a bit impatient....i didn't want to give you the feeling of being obligated to reply or something, just thought it would be nice to hear some thoughts about it
