That does look like a bit of heat stress. But really, nothing to worry about. Just make sure to keep your temps in check and you'll be golden. Just make sure to take my advice on the watering schedule.

Well, not only did she pull through, she is thriving . . . the heat stress didn't even really stunt it at all, the two center pot leaves allready doubled in size and you can see the next four coming out =D And now to the pics!

First side view pic (can see nodes now).

Really happy she is not only still alive, but happy! Happy growing!

Thanks for stoppin by Maniac. Ya we are planning on moving the plant back to within 3 inches of the CFLs tonight perhaps, and watch it very closely to make sure it doesnt start to get burnt again =) Happy growing, wish me luck.

well yea 4 definite coz ull get more bud sites wen u yank her over lets say u got 3 nodes in total thats like 7 bud sites on the stem 2 4 each node uve poped n the top cola but if ud had more strech n say only 2 nodes then ud only get 5 bud sites on the stem lol well thats my theory anywho. green thumbs temp :)

Read my mind bro, exactly my thinking, only one thing though. I found a forum on a guy that was growing in a slightly shorter grow space than me (about 15" tall) and he said he was going to let his plant get right up to the top and THEN bend it over for LSTing, I think I want to try this, can't really see why it wouldn't work, would have to replant it again, but other than that, it should work =) Wish me luck! Happy growing!

yea sounds cool shouldnt see y it wouldnt work but i wouldnt bend her wen shes on 12/12 as ive read that the stalk brittles up while theyr young theyr pretty plyable but should be ok the space ur growin in aint that tall so maybe it wouldnt get 2 brittle :)
    greeen thumbs temp ;)

just a couple quick things. First off, close nodes will be really good for you regarding your available height. But close nodes are also good during flowering, the closer the nodes the more compact the bud will be!

As for the bending over, you can wait until it gets to the top and bend it over then, as long as you aren't in flowering. This gives the plant time to stretch the new tops towards the light before flowering begins, resulting in multiple top colas. But if you do wait, the stem will be bigger and alot more prone to snapping rather than bending. But if you do it carefully, and you bring it down alittle each day until you get it to the desired point,(wich for me is parallel to the soil, or as close to it as i can) it will work fine. It's just much easier to train them when they are young because as temp said they are able to bend much easier, and hardly ever snap. Either way works, it's up to you. Other than that everything sounds good. Stay safe.

Hey guys, glad to hear from the both of you =) Ya I definetelly thought I should still be in the Vegitative stage when I do LST, and was planning on doing a little bending each day, so sounds like it will work, gonna put up new pics of the little girl (recovering quite nicely) some time this afternoon/tonight, stick around! Happy growing!

Hey bud, everything is looking pretty decent......i kinda figured the soil would be too "hot", so the yellowing is nothing to worry about for the time being. If the new growth starts to get yellow post up some pics and ill definately try my best to give ya some advice. But really, don't worry about that small bit of yellowing right now, that only 3 nodes.......a plant will have atleast 20 nodes by the time you harvest........most of the time quite more than 20. So those aint nothing to worry about.......the little gal will grow out of it.
