    Hi everybody ^^

I noticed that you remember your dreams better if you get ripped out of your
dream. With this I mean something loud and anoying, like your fiancee/girlfriend/boyfriend when they want you to wake up, a timer, alarm clock, a bomb striking in your house ( THE most effective!!), etc..

I remembered almost all of my dreams from when the alarm clock made a racket, or people ripping me out of my sleep. This works with me, not sure about you guys, but it's worth a try!

Yeh i think this is a proven fact actually, i remember doing it in my psychology class, someone did a study on it. (something to do with REM, again cant remember what this means, but i know that its to do with that) But basically you have about 13 dreams a night and then periods of non dreaming. If you get waken up when your non dreaming then its likely you dont remember but visa verca really. And i found this out to be TRUE the other day, when i had my trippy dream (see my post for more details) and i was woken up by my mum at that point, so yeh i agree with what youre saying.

oh yeh stands for rapid eye movement - can tell when people are dreaming when they are doing weird shit with their eyes. Also you can tell what sort of dream people are having by whether their eyes move upwards or sideways, but again i cant fuckin remember what type of dreams they are. lol. soz!

    LMFDAO!!!!!HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!*chokes*

Yeah, I know about REM, the faster your eyes move, the more extreme your dreams are, but I don't remember the whole periods between dreams thing. I usually remember my whole 'series' of dreams, I always get little fragments of one dream that way. Sometimes I have 2 or 3 'whole dreams' in one night.

yeah most dreams occur during REM sleep which is ussualy right after you go to sleep, and right before you wake up. back when i was in school i always had tons of dreams in the morning because my alarm would rip me from sleep, then id go back to sleep, then the alarm again etc.
