I'm sure it'll be fine. Just wanted to mention, though, that the term "ayahuasca" refers to a mix of a DMT containing plant with an MAOI containing plant.

You said you have chacruna, which is P. Viridis, and contains DMT. What you probably meant by "ayahuasca" was Banisteriopsis caapi. This is a common MAOI containing plant used in ayahuasca mixes.

    Happy voyages!

thank you for clarification :) I always thought ayahuasca was the plant containing the MAOI and that people just named the brew after that plant lol. Now i can walk the earth with a little more knowledge, thanks:)

make sure it's been kept dry. any moisture gets on it, and it will grow mold very quickly

I used year old rue seeds and they worked, you can use that, it will most likely be mild though and won't last tripping long but it's still good.

The truth of the matter is, there wasn't any clarification and your not talking on earth with a little more knowledge, that info is incorrect, ayahuasca is the name of banisterriopis caapi, what you wrote originally is right, ayahuasca is the name of just the caapi vine, not just the drink, no doubt!
