I do a lot of collages in photoshop by taking a bunch images and throwing them together by cropping, filtering, and brushing. It's always exciting to labor over these types of projects, because it's sooo difficult to manipulate a particular image into another concept. The outcome is always a high. So I thought Id like to share! you get the picture... this is a panarama involving many features from the country of Belize. hope you guys dig it!
i would paint out all my ideas, but I cant paint worth crap. and my drawing skills aren't much better. that's particularly why I use real life scenery to make my visions come to life. but, your right, photoshop can be a bit of a cop-out.
I love the tree one..I'm a fan of surealism. I want to learn how to create the andy warhol affect. I'm kind of a photoshop junkie lol
deanmono, They're both cool but I enjoy all the diverse areas you created for the viewer to walk around in with 'Belize'. I do a few things professionally with PS. A terrific and fun tool... Peace, Love and Creativity
thanks guys hopefully I will have my projects coming soon... if you guys have any creative ideas, or want to see fantastical images in your head come to life, let me know! im always looking for new ideas
i want to see a 10-story glass hotel with a pool in the middle of the lobby to which all of the balconies open and a gigantic sun roof at the top. i keep dreaming about it. hook it up.
You hit in on the head...normally I don't like photoshop but you capture the beauty in a way that it doesn't matter. I hate Andy Warhol... He is a hack, man thats good to get off my chest.
I love photoshop. Theres so much you can do. and i loathe andy warhol. i almost flipped a shit when we had to do 'in the style of andy warhol' piece in artech class [photoshop class basically]
i used to do some stuff very similar..i would take photos of me on my horse, and put them like on a beautiful country side, or riding up a mountain, cool stuff like that. keep it up
