Most women crave for compliments than anything else. Nothing can surpass those genuine and honest words of compliments that you whisper into the ears of your ladylove. A flattering remark at the right time, at the right place, by the right person and in the right way can create sheer magic. But, your admiring comments must not sound fake or superficial. And remember; never go over the top with your accolades. Otherwise, your romantic date can get marred.

In the beginning, keep your compliments subtle. For instance, you can admire the color of her clothes or rave about the dish she has cooked for you. Keep away from sexual comments at the start of your relationship. Otherwise, she may feel insulted.

As your association grows, you can opt for more sensual compliments. She will feel aroused if you praise her hairstyle and perfume. But, the time has not yet come to pass on overtly sexual remarks.

Once your relationship gets steadier, you can cross the threshold of Danger Zone. If you have that feeling that the girl is all yours, you can resort to compliments that are directly sexual or related to various body parts of the lady. You can say a word or two on her legs or fingers.

It is always guaranteed that the heart of a woman always melts hearing the words Beautiful, Gorgeous, Pretty etc. So, keep uttering them regularly. Make her feel special by saying You look stunning tonight or other such lines.

Compliment on her intelligence. Applaud on her way of handling a crisis.

Tell her she is your pillar of strength. Appreciate her by saying, You are the one who always brings out the best in me.

Keep an eye on every detail of her clothes, accessories and make-up. Appreciate on the most trivial things like the color of her nail polish.

Emphasize on her sexual attractiveness. She may not be an Angelina Jolie or Nicole Kidman. But, you can definitely make them feel that way.

Tell her that she will become a great mom someday. Hearing this, she can be the happiest person on earth, because the ultimate dream of every woman is to become a mother.

But keep in mind; all the words that you pour into her ears should carry some amount of respect. You must also mind your body language while showing your appreciation and dont shower compliments just for the heck of it!

prolly just depends on the woman. contrary to popular belief, we are not all identical pod creatures.

 

i do this for my husband, it seems to work for him, too. people need love, affection, and occaisionally, when the world is draggin them down, some freaking reassurance. it's not hard. it's not worship, i lose nothing by giving him this.

 

i'd rather have some kind of comforting physical touch or caress than a million compliments

the last person i was in bed with kept trying to compliment me, and it ruined it
i enjoy compliments sure, but every compliment someone gives me makes me more aware of myself, thus making me self-conscious .. but maybe that's me

 

oh, yeah. people always wanting to make us women into one big homogenous blob of agreement and unity. there's a few things you can't get past, though, is giving love, trust, appreciation, patience, etc.

whats wrong with wanting a few compliments from time to time? dude aint saying you need to compliment a chick every 5 min, but theres enough variety there that a guy can pick and choose what type of compliment best fits with his partner and their relatioship
i like getting complimented from my bf. especially if i take care to dress up a little extra, i want him to notice and acknowledge that he noticed that im extraspecially hot that day. "you look beautiful" is only 3 words, aint that hard to say now and then (aagin, not saying eveyr single day, but now and then its really nice)

 

Sure. People need love and affection, encouragement and reassurence. But this scribble is about complimenting at the slightest opportunity, constant reminders of her immeasurable physical beauty and superhuman intelligence. Would you really respect someone who spouted all this groveling bullshit? I wouldn't. In fact, if I had a girlfriend treat me according to these principles, I would lose respect and find someone else.

Now, if the author had restricted herself to the first paragraph, I would be all agreeance. Those are great things to keep in mind. The rest of it basically contradicts the first paragraph, and some of it is downright stupid.

 

Isn't this pretty much obvious treatment of the average woman?

1)No I dont mind if you eat cakes and chocolate all day and get fat.
2)Yes Id love to miss the football and go shopping with you.
3)Yes I like cooking too.

And the things I'd just as sooner say as those say above:-

A gorgeous girl gets bored with the "oh youre so beautiful" - and it looks wooden.
I think a girl would rather hear things that compliment against her insecurities than constant flattery
