You know.. it's really depressing.. the ONLY reason why I come back here is to go to school.. and I can't say I'm that enthusiastic about it. I really wish I had relatives or really close friends who could accomodate me. Actually have a mailing address that works and that I can count on and not just a freaking P.O box I can't use for driver's license.. and a place where to leave my car when I leave.. I feel really lonely here. I don't know why I came back and if I'm gonna make it.. right now it seems a little hard.
Sorry to hear about that. I can imagine it must be tough being that far away from home and in another country besides, especially if you don't really know anyone. Try to hang in there, because it might be nothing more than an adjustment process that's going to take a few weeks to really get used to. Best of luck.
thanks Matt.. I do know people.. I'm just not close with anyone.. close enough for them to really be there when I need them to be. My address and car situation are really bringing me down right now. I don't kow, maybe I'm just really tired.. when I'm tired I tend to get depressed.. and negative.. I don't know, I feel seriously lost.
i can totally understnad where your coming at for i can feel totally lost at times but you just have to keep your chin up and try to make the best of it your situation. Try to keep yourself occupied whatever it may be just to keep your mind off things that bring you down. I send you the best of luck.
I'm sure it will turn around in time. Take SonicYouth's advice, it is spot-on. All you can do is keep your faith and wait it out. Good luck.
Well you got what you wanted. Including all the unexpected consequences. I am sure you will figure it all out. Changing locations takes time to adapt.
Don't think you are really a spoiled brat. It just takes time to get used to a new environment. I imagine you have more options than you realize.
I hope so! I mean I don't know.. I really wonder how all the other international students get their drivers license - cause I know I'm not the only one who got it, and def. not the only one living on campus - because they don't take P.O boxes so.. what address do they give?? And you gotta prove that address.. with a bank statement or a school transcript, so.. you gotta receive the mail at the address you gave..
