A little bong addition I made this afternoon.

It's almost air tight and works great. After a hit, you just unscrew the bottle top. I was careful to make sure the glass wasnt getting hot enough to melt the plastic or anything.

 

Solid. I love making peices or adding to your real peices and making it hit great. Alof of satisfaction out of it

 

It's weird, everything pretty much fit airtight without too much time or effort.

You're going to have problems using that, the plastic cap will melt way too easy. It may work if you're the only one smoking it and you only take a couple hits, but it won't stand a chance at a party. Trust me on that, I've made enough pipes in the past to know what I'm talking about.

Now as a true old schooler, here's something I made back in 1975. I took a respirator and gutted the filter, then sealed it with some plastic from a milk jug. While it was apart I mounted a fitting to screw the bowl to. I added a tee with a plastic fitting as a carburetor for a smoother hit. It has a stacked bowl as a pre cooling chamber. The bowl is dipped in rubber like the stuff you can buy to put on Channel Lock pliers.

I haven't smoked in years, and it's been even longer than that since I smoked out of that mask. But it's hard to throw out something that I created and so many people have loved.

 

Don't worry, I'm not going to use it. I just smoked out of it once or twice, but it's far to inconvenient and easy to spill. Plus, someone broke my bong yesterday.
