The founding principles of feminism, from a man's perspective

From my tradition of speaking to those of opposing viewpoints, I think I have come to find the founding principles of feminism.

The four pillars of feminism.

Censorship, personal attacks, false consensus, and selective reasoning.

* Censorship - Feminists often try to drown out opposing views by spamming. Many other women have reacted to opposing viewpoints basically telling the messenger to fuck off, not even addressing the points made. Yet no feminists complain of this blatant rule breaking, and blatant civil decency breaking.

* Lies and personal attacks - For example, I ask "how does White Power compare to Feminism". You respond with strange accusations.

When you are really annoyed you pull lies out of your ass against anti-feminists, like that they can't get laid because they said something that you don't like to hear. For example questioning if it's a good thing that females should have so much more reproductive rights, will get you "nyah nyah im a feminst and u cant get lade!".

* Hypocrisy and false consensus - If a feminist makes a spelling error, no one says anything. If an anti-feminist does, they'll immediately describe every single thing he's ever said as being badly spelt, despite that that one word may have only constituted 0.1 percent of his total words. And were he really making an effort to spell properly he could have, he was just being informal.

The effect is that because a dominant majority seems to be all agreement with each other, they don't need to refer to reality. This lets you get away within your community with lies like "omg u cant speel, EVAR". This means that despite that reality is 100% in contradiction to your personal attacks, that bothers you not at all. You feel totally confident to make your personal attacks, even in cases when the very post you were replying to disproves the personal attack!

All you see from other feminists is congratulations, not "erm, but look he already said something that shows this personal attack to not be true."

* Selective reasoning - Twisting of words and facts is the best we'll get from you. For example one person here said that warriors are exalted and given special status in society. Despite that we know from history that all slave owning civilisations used their slaves, and lower classes as warriors. Think back to Rome for example. The front line, disposable units especially. And that's exactly where the slaves were and in modern armies men remain. Females may be allowed into armies as officers, but they are not conscripted into the front lines, where men and slaves have historically been.

We can understand that black men today who go into boxing do so because of their powerlessness. They feel they have little inherant worth as a black man. Due to racism from society, many black men feel they must risk their lives to earn respect. But we can't see how the same situation affects all men, how they are treated as less valuable unless they risk their lives to prove themselves valuable. This treatment extends throughout the media, parenting and schooling. I can list off many studies from my copies of Warren Farrell's books to back up how males get worse treatment from the media, parents and schools. For example did you know that about 2/3rds of children killed are sons, even while they are infants and too young to be exhibiting the mythical "inherant male aggression"?

What I'm saying here is that the connection is obvious, dying in wars is a sign of powerlessness. Yet you make the most ridiculous flawed twistings of reason to avoid having to accept that male powerlessness is real.

Your selective reasoning goes so far as to say that women are being paid less money and that women are just as physically strong as men. These things totally contradict reality! We do not see job adverts saying "Men: $100,000 Women: $73,000". Your selective reasoning is so extreme that it contradicts things that are blindingly obvious.

And this, your selective reasoning, is when you are trying your hardest to sound even vaguely reasonable. Most of the time you are dragging the conversation into the gutter.


In conclusion:

The hypocritical false-consensus trait of feminists, is what really strikes me as the most shameful thing about you.

After all this, we can conclude, that feminism is soley founded upon dirty, dishonest dishonourable underhanded tactics, and group delusion.

I'll be honest, I have been provocative in the past. However, every provocation I made, had some really good rational points to discuss. For example when I said: "Why should we focus on female reproductive rights when males have almost zero reproductive rights? When are you feminists going to give us the equality that you claim feminism is about?".

Provocative or not, factual and well reasoned or not, you consistantly respond to opposing viewpoints by attacking the messenger and engaging in dirty tactics, especially if the poster is male. Even manginas (men who support feminism) admit they get far more criticism for attacking the female posters than the male posters.

I believe that without these founding princples of censorship, brutal ad-hominems, hypocrisy/false-consensus, and selective reasoning, feminism could not exist.

Instead of a feminist Matriarchy, we'd have a truely fair society. Where males are not expected to protect and provide for females, do not get their houses and children stolen by divorcing wives, aren't hated and hounded in the media, don't have a 4x higher suicide rate. And even are allowed to express their emotions, and dress as they like even with skirts in public without getting any bad reactions.

Well, to the OP's benefit, conspiracies do exist.

But they involve a handful of very powerful identifiable individuals and are limited in time and scope. Conspiracies don't last for centuries nor do they involve entire sub-sections of humanity.

Everything else is trying to make sense of one's pain by means of self-validating ideology.

Well, that's how conspiratorial thinking goes.

You need to find the culprit in order to believe your suffering is more important than others, or that the injustice done to you puts you in a special status category.

It's not that rare actually, that kind of thinking. It is alive and well in Washington and it's a part of our Christian tradition as well.

Nope. Everyone who is logical takes me seriously.

And it is logical to insult those who only give insults. First you tell me that I can't afford a house and that I'm gay, then you complain of person attacks. Amazing. You attack others, then complain when they attack you back.

If you were reasonable, I'd give you reason. But you respond to reason with insults. And so the correct response to you, is insults. If everyone insulted you, that would be the reasonable course of action.

A conspiracy implies formal, especially written consent to a system of lies.

I never said these asshole feminists have formally agreed to a system of lies. They just do it.

Females are naturally good at lying. No conspiracy here. At least not in the conventional sense. It is still a system of lies, but an informal one that spontaneously forms with no prior organisation.

Yeah, aside from a conspiratorial argument the only one left would be a biological or an essentialist argument which amounts to the same thing: it's in a woman's nature to lie, etc.
