No nutes at all yet, except i guess the nutes in the miracle grow (littel yellow ball things) but nothing added by me. And that burnage has been there since the day I replanted it when it went crazy on me . . . the new 6 pot leaves are all doing fine and arent burning, grow box is staying around 90 degrees (by plant) I know its not ideal but a friend of mine claims his relative (omitting who) grew in a room that was easily 90 + degrees constantly and had several large plants so I'm not horribly worried. Happy growing all and thanks for stopping by.

Everything is looking good. That is definately alittle nute burn from the soil. Nothing to worry about just yet, unless it rapidly starts spreading and affecting new growth. As for the temps, anything above 85F can stunt plant growth and affect how the plant takes in oxygen. It VERY RARELY speeds up growth.......if you have proper conditions high temps can SOMETIMES step up the plants metabolic activity resulting in a faster growth rate. It really is best to try to keep it at 70-80F if ya can. Just don't let it get any hotter than it already is! Otherwise, keep up the good work bud!

Ok guys, thanks for stoppin by again! Ya I'll have to talk to my friend and see if he has any further info on his relative that grew in rather hot room, may have been set up to grow faster or perhaps they were continual harvest plants or somthing. Im gonna start looking for ways to bring down the temp, been seriously thinking about making a small block of ice and setting it on a try just outside the air intake (outside grow box) air conditioning basically =) Well I'll check back later today, happy growing!

 Didnt seem like watering had anything to do with it to me, thought it was 100 degree temperature that did it, I only water every 2 days though . . .

Ok guys, just took a look at the plant, watered her yesterday. She just started her 4th node. Apparently no growth stunts have occured at all some I'm very happy about that. Also when I checked on it today it was 85 where plant was and actually 80 up a little higher than plants =) So if it stays at this temp. range then I'm going to leave it go, otherwise I'll try and figure out a way to cool down the box. Won't be able to post pics untill late tonight though, so check back either late tonight or tomorrow some time. Happy growing all!

Nice, sounds like you're doing good. A little tip on the watering: put a pot (the same size as the one your plant is growing in) filled with dry soil in your box. When the two weight about the same (meaning the pot with the plant in it is dry) it's time to water. When I first started this trick helped me a good deal with learning when to water. Over time you'll learn how much water is perfect for feeding, and also how to tell when your plants are thirsty.

    Peace and good luck.

Hey Lune, havent heard from you in a while bro. Thanks for the tip man, way I've been going about it is all visual, we have a completely see-through pot for plant so I look at top of soil, sides, and bottom, and wait for the leaves on plant to start to sort of reach up towards CFLs, then I water, leaves go back down, get a good even distribution of water too. This whole process takes about 2 days, so thats how often I been watering, I like ur idea though, I think I'll try that. Thanks for stopping buy man, happy growing!

No problem man, I'm happy to help any way I can.

Just one thing, did you mean it the other way around about the leaves reaching upwards?

"wait for the leaves on plant to start to sort of reach up towards CFLs, then I water, leaves go back down"

When the plant is thirsty it should start to droop a bit, and when it's been watered then it should perk back upwards. Is the soil moist at all when you water? I'm not sure if this is a problem, since I'm not standing there with you, if what you say is true, it sounds to me like you're overwatering, and when the plant recovers and starts to perk up you water again when it's not needed (overwatering causes a droopy look, as does underwatering). I'm not sure if this is a problem, cuz like I said I'm not standing there looking at you're grow with you, but I figured I'd say something and maybe save you some problems. I actually had that exact problem when I first started growing until a friend taught me better... honestly most newbie mistakes are either too much water, or too much nutes.

either way, just make sure the soil is totally dry before you water, don't kill your girls with love, they will tell you when they need nutes and they will tell you when they need water.

Sorry if that was a typo, or I'm just paranoid for ya and there's no problem.

Also, ditch the clear pots/cups, they can lead to root problems.

    Peace bro :spliff:

Hey Lune, hmm, well all the grows I have looked at on the forums pretty much say somthing like - "Just watered her before these pics so she's real droopy" so I thought the reverse was true, I never water when I can see any signs of water though, so I'll just stick to checking soil for watering times then thanks man, bout to post some pics below. Happy growing!

Alrighty then . . . so if plant lives, I will be down right amazed . . . can't find my card reader so no pics uploaded for now sorry. But ya, the rubberbands holding up the lightning fixture broke . . . so where did it fall? 6 inches down to right on top of the plant i think . . when i found it the lighting fixute was off to the side, but the plant looks like it got smashed . . . still green though . . . no clue when it happened . . . so put light back using string this time (why in the HELL i didn't think of that the first time i have NO clue . . ) and assuming that within 12 hours it will be dead as a door nail. . . if so, I'll plant more seeds! Oh well, pray with me guys :p Happy growing!

hey bud. Sorry to hear about the mishap. But i may have some encouraging words! As long as the stem didn't snap, that little lady will spring right back up! If the stem did split or snap alittle bit, you can use string and tie it back together and the stem will fix itself by fusing back together! But as your plant is fairly young still, the stem shouldn't have snapped.

Just make sure the light is being held securely this time! Lucky you didn't burn any leafs.......worse yet, break the bulb and burn the house down! Just be safe, and no smoking before securing light! ;)

Well it is good to hear that man, thanks for stopping by Maniac, no stems snapped at all, but I can't really tell if it was burnt or not, its pretty crumpled, I immediately strung up the light by using same holes the rubber-bands had been in. I will post back later tonight after checking on her again. Thanks for stopping by and happy growing!
