Im in America, and it just seems dangerous to grow. But herb is so expensive and i always think about growing JUST for myself/close friends. What do you think about growing in general, and just for yourself? I fear I'd want to deal eventually which also keeps me from it. What ya think?
I'd say try it, my friend tried once by just putting some seeds in some soil in her room and the plant actually grew without her doing anything to it, it just didn't get big enough. As soon as I get my own place Ima try to grow my own too. But I also plan on dealing, so I dunno.

If you do grow, grow only for yourself, and share with your friends if you want. NEVER EVER tell your friends, unless they live with you. The first two rules of fight club are the same as the first two rules of growing...(corny, but true)
As soon as I move out I plan to grow, of course it will still have to be slightly stealthy as parents might drop by for visits.
I find the idea of growing in a closet a bit um... whorey or insulting to the plants so to speak. I would loke to grow a plant simply because I enjoy gardening. I could never smoke all the buds that the plant would grow, the attraction for me is that it is illegal and therefore growing would give me a thrill lol. There are many advantages to growing yourself. You are crossing out the middle man and reducing the risk of dealers being caught. If more people grew their own, then less people would get arrested for it. Although yes, there is always the risk of your parents comeing around for tea and asking what that smell is lol

hell yes i'm gonna grow. i just need to find a place of my own. i got a camp but it's my parents so i doubt i could grow there. maybe in the summer time i'll grow at my camp out in the bush or something.
you must grow, there's nothing like it. You'll wonder how you ever dealt with dealers. You feel like you never lived buying from dealers. All it takes is a lot of studying. I'd say it's equivalent to a college course acquiring all that you'll need to know. But after that it's easy and pretty cheap. plus it's good for the soul. It's awesome to have a bit of green life in your closet. Some people connect with nature with a pet, I do it with plants. You become healthier because you think about what you feed your plants and you naturally think about what you feed yourself. It's loads of fun to watch the different phases of growth, especially the third month, when you just watch the buds get bigger and bigger. I like sharing my product, but I won't ever accept money for it. It cheapens the experience. The other person feels like they gave up a lot with a few bucks, but you feel like you gave up a bit of your patience and soul. At least I do.
i had a plant in my closet about a year ago and my mom found and we had a big stuff blah blah blah. the point is grow. just dont get caught

^ yeah thats what i thought also, smoking a mate up here, a mate up there... few weeks and you see a noticeable amount has gone up in smoke

Dude, so true, when you have a big stash lying around you're always getting the itch to roll another one. My friends will be in the corner in comatose, and I'm heading down the street to grab another dutch. What does it for me is that I turn all my trim into hash and smoke that while the herb is drying and curing. By the time I get to the buds, I need a gram or so to be layed out. A bowl will just give me a buzz, but if I smoke up a friend who doesn't smoke all that much, they'll be all zoned out, staring at the wall or something for 10 minutes at a time. LOL.
along with climbing a mountain and sailing across an ocean, harvesting a successful marijuana crop is one of my life goals. It just seems so right.
