Well, a place with more character. Right now I live in suburbs outside of Toronto. I dont like suburbs. Beside the ocean would be awesome, or near mountains, or some natural beauty. I like cities. Im in love with the west coast, but even just going south would be awesome.

Well here are the top ten cities in the US according to a list I just found.

    Austin, TX San Diego, CA
    Houston, TX New York, NY
    Chicago, IL Charlotte, NC
    Seattle, WA San Francisco, CA
    Atlanta, GA Los Angeles, CA

I'd nix Houston and LA from that list. The rest of those place are really vibrant and cool, or I've never been.

pretty much all the best actual cities in the US are Northern&Eastern, the most natural beauty is in the west, best beaches in the south etc. Its a hard decision

California like San Fran might be nice for you

It's easy to avoid someone in a big city.

But Seattle would be good. San Frans as expensive as death.

seattle isn't that much of a city, I lived there, kind of boring, but near mountains, sea etc

its weird up there, but you know, a Canadian might feel at home there

SF is the real city of the West Coast

Well if you're Canadian and want to move to Seattle, I'd just move to Vancouver or Surrey instead. Stay in your beautiful country where your government has half a conscience. Otherwise, I would recommend the Twin Cities of Minnesota if you don't mind cold winters. Minneapolis is a nice multi-cultural city with many employment options. Plus... Have you heard of "Minnesota nice"? Savannah, GA would also be exciting.

    My views of Tennessee:

MM (mile marker) 118 off I-40 there is a truck stop but if you cross over the other side there is a little strip bar that has the best burgers and steaks and cheap. Thats how I found them. They talk on the CB and let you know about the food and they have truck parking too. SO I tired out guy like me heard them on the radio, I called back and they said they had parking. I pre ordered my steak over the radio and when I pulled in they hard it ready. 16oz Tbone, baked Potato and a beer for $9.99.

MM 65'ish a little CB repair shop but always has free fresh baked cookies and coffee for anyone rolling thru.

Memphis South (land of whores and drug dealers) Right out on the streets day or night.

Nashville TA truckstop, so deadly I wont stop there. Drug issues bad there.

I-40 is a long stretch thru Tennessee and its wonderful country, cops dont screw with ya much as a driver unless you dont speak english then look out.

There are some cool places like Loretta Lynns place (Im not into country but) good food, neat shit to see ect. Dolly too has a place there too same deal

Most of the people are nice toward truck drivers so it was cool to me.

Kentucky is nicer to me though, nicer places to see and some killer places to stop and eat.

I am telling ya buy a good CB that has really big ears and you will hear some cool stuff and some awesome places to go.
