Hello. I am new to using condoms, and have recently been having some issues. The condom is extremely tight, almost the way a small rubber band squeezes an arm, yet is half and inch to an inch too large. I am using durex brand (I believe they may be a flavored kind?) Does anybody know of a brand that would be closer to fitting someone with a penis between 5 and 6 inches but that is atleast as wide, if not wider, than a normal condom? Its not that this brand was excessively long for me, rather right when I got to the base in unrolling the condom I was about a half inch too short and couldn't unroll it fully. Thanks for any input.
Try different brands. It's supposed to be "too long". It's not nessesary to unroll it all the way. Tight?? Does it hurt? If so, you might try "large sized" condoms. ("Large" condoms are just a marketing ploy, IMO) If it doesn't hurt, but is just difficult to put on. Perfect; that's the way they're supposed to fit. Another test for tightness; after you cum, do you have to unroll the condom to get it off or does is just slide off. (unroll=no good) From your description, it sounds like everything is fine. It gets easier with practice.
Thanks a lot for the advice. My biggest worry was that I thought it had to fully unrolled. If some is still allowed to be rolled up as long as its at the base then I guess I am ok. I appreciate the response.
Why does "unroll=no good"? Shouldn't it be "slide off=no good"? If it slides off, you'd figure that meant it was too large for you. Condoms arent supposed to just slide off... I'm curious what you mean by this, because after I cum, I can pull on the condom all I want, even till the point where its being stretched 6 inches past my penis, and it doesn't even begin to slide off. I have to unroll every time
A condom should be removed quickly. The condom should be withdrawn from your partner before the penis softens. Taking the semen away from the vagina ASAP is sound birth control. After withdrawing from her, if you can't slide the condom off without rolling it, it might be a little tight.
Try Trojan Large Condoms. I had the same problem, found it difficult to get Durex on, but Trojan are perfect.
If its worked so far (and doesn't hurt) I wouldn't change. If you like, you could try a different size and masturbate while wearing it to make sure that it will stay on when needed.
I guess mine are too small then... They're shy of the base by at least 2 inches (fully unrolled) and so tight that my circulation is cut-off. Don't worry- I haven't used these for sex. I made a thread about this crap. You might want to check it out.
if you are having problems then do not try Lifestyle condoms....wow they are so freaking tight it hurts.
