classes are gonna kill all my free time

So I've been to 3 of my 5 classes this semester.. and I already feel overwhelmed. So much work. I wanted to get a job but there's no way I'll be able to handle a job with the work I have to do in just 3 classes.. and there's 2 more..

I'm gonna go buy booze to fill my fridge tomorrow. I have so much writing to do, will need it!

I already have to interview a reporter.. thank god one of my best friends happens to be a reporter, or else, where the fuck would I find a reporter who'd accept to be interviewed by next week? But at least - I get to publish in the biggest college newspaper this semester.

I haven't eaten at all today.

 

Lately, I've been trying to have no free time. I can't seem to deal with my goddamn mind if it's not overloaded with things to do. So, being busy doesn't neccessarily have to be a bad thing.

The booze sounds great. What are you gonna get?

true that at least when you have shit to do you don't have time to just think.. I wasn't really planning on just sitting here and do nothing during my free time though.. I dunno, maybe it seems like a lot of work right now cause I'm not used to school work anymore but once I get back "into" it.. maybe it'll be alright? I dunno. I think I still need time to re-adjust.. and I'm living in a new place and all.. it's a lot to take in.. but it'll be alright I'm sure. I think I need to feed myself a little bit. You know maybe I am not treating myself good enough these days.

Anyways yes, the booze.. um I am thinking wine and beer.. good beer

Working full time and going to school full time sucks, but in my second year of it, its not so bad. I dont even think about it anymore, I just learned to appreciate the free time I have with family and friends even more. And my high and drunk times too, haha.

 

My first uni classes start on the 25th of Feb, and aside from having a notorious reputation for a lot of work, they are on at such inconvenient times. a lot of them go from 5pm to 6pm on weeknights. I don't want to have to be in class in the evening

But I suppose that means no early morning starts, so thats one good thing.

 

I have crazy night classes. Tomorrow night for instance, I have Speech from 7 to 10.

 

'Drinking wine and writing' is a great past-time. When I drink beer, I usually want to sing, not write.

 

I would definitely be a little tipsy before going to that class.

Ya I have 3 classes either 7-10 or 6-9 at night. And my only morning class is 8-10am MWF. So basically my schedule is terrible. I wish I enrolled earlier instead of last minute.

 

well I'd rather have late night classes than early morning classes though.. I'm not a morning person..

 

I think most people would like to study like that. I teach 5 mornings a week and three nights a week. The students at night are much more alert than some of the bleary eyed zombies I see in the morning.
Come to think of it, so am I. Teaching at night is a lot easier than teaching in the morning, for me anyway.

 

I understand how you feel...I have 5 classes a week from 7-10 pm AND I work AND I was stressed out and depressed way before school started...I have no clue how I'm going to make it to May

 

yeeeep i think this is a shitty term for lots of folks. i know im busy as fuck, 3 of my classes have -big- group projects, and im working part time and dealing with panic/anxiety attacks. lame

 

My university classes killed most of my free time for 5 years... But I don't regret it.

 

I want to talk to the top mananger first when i get my first job out of college. Id say "i know how to solve a quadratic equation" somehow i get the feelin he wont know what the fuck im talkin about. College is good but some of the shit we need to learn, some of it just makes me laugh. Just remember its better to try and get and education then walking down the street and applying at dominos.
