Recently, many bisexuals on http://www.bimatching.com are talking about something about bisexuals.

What does bisexual mean? I can assume that homosexual stands for having a sexual desire for the same sex, heterosexual for the opposite sex, does this mean bisexual stands for having a sexual desire for both sexes?

Don't homosexual people end up with one sex? For example, a gay man will end up with another man....or a gay woman will end up with another gay woman. And heterosexually speaking, a man and a woman will end up together. So, how can we classify bisexual into that category? If someone is bisexual, who will they end up with? A man, a woman or both?

I don't believe bisexual can really be compared to hetero/homo sexual classification. To me, bisexual seems more like a lifestyle choice that normally doesn't last. Is it an in between stage? What is bisexual in your eyes?

    pretty much....

they end up being with whoever they end up with. No one falls in love with a gender, they fall in love with a person...

its the 'in between'...kind of the best of both worlds and not having a care about what's between a persons legs but what's in their head and heart...and who says it doesn't last? Being bisexual means being sexually attracted to both sexes...how can that NOT last?

it hilarious how the gays/ lesbians are always talking about equal rights. but they dont treat the bisexual ppl like they deserve to be part of the community. Lesbians descriminate on bisexual women and gay men descriminate on bisexual men.

i am attracted to both sexes...i am niether hetero nor homo...i guess you can say i am poly!

^ Pansexual is the proper term from what I've heard.
