I just got done reading through turnoffyourtv.com, and I am no longer watching TV. Whats the point? all this celebrity shit, they are just people, who appear in talking/moving pictures. why praise them? and the fact that you enter a highly susceptable state while watchign TV is too scary. its TV that runs this country. mindless consuming zombies. no more is TV going to tell me what to think.

I don't watch TV but sometimes at night I'll catch an episode of fresh prince. No I have no IDOL's No I don't worship celebertys I think it's the stupidest bullshit ever. I tell my parents every day to pay for the trash pickup instead of the cable. But hey, you can't influence everyone can you?
TV sucks. Go outside, read a book, listen to music and stare at your sterio! ;)

I don't watch TV; there is no TV in my house. I'd rather not take part in watching that shit the government shoves down your throat... if I need to watch something, I go to the library and pick out something myself like a documentary, or go to YouTube or LiveLeak.

:sigh: i tried. i didn't watch tv all yesterday until dinner and i watched four episodes of family guy. it's so stupid and addicting and i hate it, but living with my family with a huge screen tv and tivo and all that bullshit makes cutting it out of my life a lot harder.

god. i totally agree that tv is not worth it. ever. but it's addicting.

turn off your TVs! I know its hard and they're addicting, but please! Turn them off, sell them for cash non Cragslist or Ebay, use the money to buy books and weed, and go to the library!

I do have a tv but no cable or satelite, just rabbit ears. I rarely watch it but when I do it is usually King of the Hill. Mike Judge is a genius. Or I watch videos from my own collection. But I am thinking of ditching the tv all together. I wouldn't really miss it.

I consider TV to be like McDonald's: it's fine once or twice a month. But putting that stuff inside of you every day is totally unhealthy. I myself haven't watched any in over a year, and even then the only show I watched was House M.D. and the occasional Law & Order rerun.

That being said, I still watch too much YouTube. Oh well.

I love tv but I can live without it most times. I do have shows I watch though. Tv is good entertainment & believe it or not you can actually learn stuff from tv. I know it's not everyone's thing though.
