So here's the deal, i've been perusing this section for a while and there is some obvious talent floating around out here. There is also an abundance of people who think they can write but don't have the knack or finesse to truly impress. So i propose a quest for someone who thinks that they can write the best and stress the parts of life that we all like.

I need poems that are vivid stuck pigs of imagery with messages and intentions all subtly crafted like the gourmet ice cream you can get at Coldstone Creamery. Goddamn expensive ice cream.

Words however are free, so someone give me something to see and go on a writing spree.

(Sorry for all the rhyming but I feel I must keep in the timing)

    im sorry i write for me...because i like the art...because it's a release...

if you want experts or stuck pigs of imagery, look up sharon olds, or galway kinnel, or billy collins, or william carlos williams...

i know three of those poets already but I'm not looking for professionals I'm looking for the great artists who already lay their heads in these forums
I'm looking for the brazen souls ready to become more than spectators
and I'm not looking for perfect imagery I'm looking for that magic spark some writing has
empathy and emotion behind the words
instead of tired metaphors and cliche topics
like how my burning passion keeps me up all night wasting candles
trying to figure out why my last four relationships went up in smoke
poems with excessive repetition where there needn't be

i dont believe anyone can write the best,
and you will never have the perfect piece.
    read them for yourself
