MDMA unfortunately no onger works on swim even when very high doses are used. a mild body buzz at best. however swim used to love MDMA but then one day it just suddenly stopped working. my question i guess is directed mainly at other people in similar situations as swim. does this rediculous tolerance spreed to other similar drugs such as methylone, mephedrone, ect. or might they still work for swim?
While I cannot speak from experience I must say that you might try taking a break from similar substances for a while. Perhaps your brain chemistry has altered itself so drastically that your serotonin system needs to recover. Using similar substances will only further the damage, even if (or especially if) they give you the desired effects. No evidence for damage, but MDx compounds tend to suck all the juice from a brain fairly rapidly, I can only imagine their relatives act in a similar manner. I advise caution.
swim's gone 6 months or more several times without any increase in effects. swim didn't really even use it that often compared to swim's mates whom all still roll hard.
I can vouch for swim. I used to love MDMA too. 125 mg would get me high for the whole night. Now, I never get high like I used to, and I've taken long breaks form it. It seem to only be when I take MDMA, though that the tolerance is high. And of course the other Md's. If I take speed or something else in the same family of amphetamine, my tolerance isn't affected.
While your serotonin receptors are probably a bit damage from the MDMA usage, you should still be able to enjoy other psychedelic stimulants such as methylone. If you are unable to enjoy serotogenic drugs, a nice long break is in order in my opinion. -DP
