American Pot-Ratings

Hi there, I've been browsing the marijuana forums for a while now, and most weed seems to be described in (atleast) the US as shwag, mids, dank and chronic... correct me if I'm wrong.

Here in the UK it's either bush, nice pot, crap pot, or if it's special, we give the strain e.g 'white widow'

I've got some pics here of some pot out of an ounce I scored for a friend. I'm not very well set up or anything, so I don't expect my pot to be rated highly. I'm just interested in find out what its equal (in terms) would be in the states.

For me, this pot would rate about a 6.0. It's about what we usually get.

Slightly, if you dry it out you get alot more joints out.
I live an hour away from leeds in North Yorkshire, btw.

It's not home-grown, I'm good friends with the guy I got it off. I didn't expect you to like, thanks for the 'mids' post, though

 

brother,i hate to tell ya, that aint mids in america,, thats schwag..i mean,,thats some NASTY lookin shit.. the only reason i gave it a 3 was because it somewhat resembles a bud.

you asked for honest opinions,we are giving them.

whats the point of all of these threads? you cant actually tell how good it is unless your looking at it and smokin it.

There's no accurate way to judge quality, EVER. Even if its a close up picture of perfectly manicured buds covered with trichomes - you dont know the potency. You dont know what levels of THC CBN CBD CBCn CBCd are in those trichomes.

That doesnt look like its great, but looks mean nothing.

So, no one can comment, and those that think they can dont know what they're talking about, and shouldnt be smoking.

 

oh i agree,in most cases, ive already stated that my opinion is based soley on looks..

that being said that shit looks NASTY.. and my educated guess as a pot smoker for 30 years now is that it is nasty.

 

Okay so for the most part Im agreeing with hippie in this thread for my neck of the woods. Heres what it looks like in my area (Northeast USA) and what to expect pot wise.
Heres some schwag: this stuff is dirt cheap great for baking with or if you want alot of pot CHEAPLY.


Now heres some what we call beasters, or mids. This is what I generally puff on because its most economically fit for me. If I wanted to buy an eighth of this it would be $35 but I generally buy a half oz for $110


Then theres what we call headies they are generally the best you can buy. You have to remember with pot though there are tons of different types of really good bud so the highs will vary not all headies are created equal. Heres 2 shots of some recent headies I had. A nug shot then a macro close up to show you how it should appear very crystally.

To the guy who asked 'what's the point in these threads', I understand this in some threads, but the purpose of this was for me to compare ratings across countries and better understand marijuana in america.

 

yeah that shit looks over fertilized and under cured IMO..

i could be wrong,,but ive never in all my years smoked anything that looked that dark of green, and that under cured that was worth a shit..
