So my medical issues are cleared up and I am back at work, at a different job...less money but so much less stress also...had my surgery, and have recovered and am ready to be spreading my wings.

I am taking a road trip in 3 weeks for the month of February to Ontario...will be in Hamilton for part of the time and was wanting to connect up with Drew if possible.

Where are things at with the Canadian Highway Bus Tribe at this point, can I get back on board with being part of the team?

 

Oh, I'm certainly sure that you can! Right now, basically, all we have to do is get together and finish the bus. We're looking at to kick it in spring, but we need to get work done on the bus. I'm not sure otherwise... I should really write shit down, I think I've smoked my memories away... Blarhg... Boy that sounded poetic, tho.

 

would it be possible at all to join in the summer as i am attending school..?

ok kids get to hamilton the house will be up by the 1st of feb, and the bus gets out of the shop tonight.

I got some skilled woodworkers with me now attributing to some funky fashions on board.

the work continues, could use some help ....


theres a xavier rudd concert in feb, Im hoping to have the thing on the road by then, get the bugs out for the voyage.

GREAT News!!

I will get to Hamilton by February 3 as discussed....traveling by Greyhound and leaving Calgary on February 1st...takes couple of days of traveling to get there....and 24 hours just to get through Ontario itself...

Glad to hear of the community house...am so excited!

good to hear.

the bus is out of the shop and I got some time yesterday to do some work on it. not much all that time at the shop and I left the inverter on so I had to jump the battery to get it home and after I shut the bus off I quickly ran out of juice, so Ill be replacing the battery next weekend and spending some time walling the framed work already done. ...gotta new jigsaw makes things a a bit closer cut.....

bus is looking good.

Have talked to Ang and Joshie, and both are still for tribe, but are kinda hung up on their own stuff and aren't too sure about how soon they'll get to the communal house.
